Janet Marie Kinder

Janet Marie Kinder - The world lost an incredible wife, mother, sister, grandmother and friend on Thursday, April 4, 2013.  Janet Marie Kinder finished her fight victorious and surrounded by her loving family.

Janet Marie Kinder, daughter of the late Floyd L. Isaac and Gladys Cookemboo Isaac, was born on May 19, 1942, in Kinder, Missouri and passed away at the age of 70 years.  On September 13, 1957, she was united in marriage to Hurcle Kinder in Sikeston, Missouri.  Mr. Kinder survives in the home.

Mrs. Kinder was a member of the Apostolic Pentecostal Church Fortress of Truth in Farmersville, California.  She was a longtime resident of Southeast Missouri and then moved to Farmersville where she and Mr. Kinder resided for twenty-five years.  The couple then moved back to Southeast Missouri due to illness.

She is survived by three daughters, Robin Chavoya of New York, New York, Shelley Green of Bloomfield, Missouri and Wendy Guzman of Dexter, Missouri; by two brothers, Doyle Isaac of Fredericktown, Missouri and Claude Isaac of Farmersville, California; by one sister, Brenda Baker of Visalia, California; by nine grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Stephen Kinder and by one brother, Jim Isaac.

As much as it hurts to see her leave, we know she is in the arms of her Master.  Her humble, caring spirit truly lives on.  She lived the life most could only dream.  She loved rodeos, practical jokes, Elvis Presley and, most of all, her St. Louis Cardinals.  Up until her final day, she cared for a man she loved more than life itself and cherished each moment with laughter.  As a family, we can only hope to do the same.

Friends may call at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter on Sunday, April 7, 2013, from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M.

Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, April 8, 2013, at 11:00 A.M. in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel.

Interment will follow in the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery.
