
Roger Kent Wright, son of Norma Jean Jackson Wright and the late John Allen Wright, was born in Parma, Missouri on November 10, 1959, and passed away at the Missouri Southern Health Care in Dexter, Missouri on December 3, 2012, at the age of 53 years and 23 days.
He had lived most all his life in the Malden and Parma, Missouri area. He was a member of the Church of God in Christ in Parma, Missouri.
Surviving are his mother, Norma J. Wright of Malden, Missouri; two sons, Quentin Wright and Lamont Dobbins, both of Malden, Missouri; one daughter, Tatyana Wright of Malden, Missouri; one adopted son, Cortez Dobbins of Malden, Missouri; several grandchildren; four brothers, Johnny Wright, Stacy Wright, David Wright, and Michael Earl Wright, all of Malden, Missouri; and four sisters, Mary Ann Shaw of Malden, Missouri, Susan Wright Smith of Little Rock, Arkansas, Tracy Wright of Malden, Missouri, and Carol McKinley of Little Rock, Arkansas; a special friend, Linda Dobbins of Malden, Missouri.
Many nieces, nephews, other family and friends also survive. He was preceded in death by his father, John Wright; two brothers, Carl Wright and Terry Wright; and one adopted sister, Regina Thatch.
Visitation will be held at 10:00 AM till 12:00 PM on Saturday December 8, 2012 at the Church of God in Christ Church in Parma, Missouri.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 PM on Saturday, December 8, 2012, at the Church of God in Christ in Parma, Missouri with Elder James Farr of Malden, Missouri officiating.
Interment will follow in the Macedonia Cemetery in Malden, Missouri with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter in charge of arrangements.

Bonnie Sue Livesay, daughter of the late Joseph Peter “JP” and Gertrude Alberta Bradford Cochran, was born on March 14, 1939, in London, Arkansas and passed away at her home in Dexter, Missouri on December 1, 2012, at the age of 73 years.
She had lived in Aquilla from 1968 to 2006 when she moved to Dexter, Missouri. She was of the Protestant faith and had operated her own house cleaning service.
On February 1, 1958, she was married to George Bennie Livesay in Alcorn County, Mississippi. He preceded her in death in 1994.
Surviving are one daughter, Angela Livesay and fiancé Gene Rath of Puxico, Missouri; two grandchildren, Wesley Livesay and Brittany Livesay Conner both of Bloomfield, Missouri; one great grandson, Nathan Conner of Bloomfield; three brothers, Marvin Cochran of Lebanon, Missouri, Melvin Cochran of Bloomfield, Missouri, Steve Cochran of Scott City, Missouri; three sisters, Pauline McMillan of Dexter, Missouri, Helen Creason of Lebanon, Missouri, Wanda James of Essex, Missouri. Other relatives and many friends also survive.
She was preceded in death by one son, Jeffrey Alan Livesay; one brother, Ivan Cochran; and two sisters, Margaret Cochran and Mabel Strecker.
Friends may visit on Wednesday December 5, 2012, from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday December 6, 2012, at 10:00 a.m. at the Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield with the Rev. Lonnie Mittag of Dexter, Missouri officiating.
Interment will be in the Walker Cemetery in Bloomfield, Missouri with Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in charge of all arrangements.

Sharri grew up in Potosi, Missouri and moved to Dexter six years ago. She worked for many years as a case worker for the State of Missouri and as a substitute teacher for the Bloomfield School District.
On December 27, 1986 Sharri was married to Larry Lawson in Potosi, Missouri. Larry preceded her in death on November 22, 2004. She was of the Free Will Baptist faith.
Surviving are two sons: Robbie Pennebaker of Bloomfield and Adam Pennebaker of Dexter. One brother: Brian Cain of Cadet, Missouri, two sisters: Lois Allen of Dittmer, Missouri and Tammye Dailly of Tiff, Missouri and four grandchildren. Other family and friends also survive. She was preceded in death by one son: Nicky Bettencourt, two brothers Vincent Cain and Eddie Cain. One sister: Jackie Patrick
Local Visitation will be held on Monday, December 3, 2012, after 4:00 p.m. at the Watkins and Sons Funeral Chapel in Dexter, Missouri.
A visitation will also be held in Potosi, Missouri on Tuesday, December 4, 2012 at the DeClue Family Funeral Home in Potosi with Rev. Dale Holman officiating assisted by Donald Strauser.

Velma Irene Barker, age 87, of Alvin, Texas, passed away Thursday, November 29, 2012, at her residence. Velma was born on January 29, 1925, in Kinder, Missouri, and was an off and on resident of Alvin since 1994. Prior to residing in Alvin, she was a lifetime resident of Dexter, Missouri.
Velma was an active member of the Church of Christ in both Alvin and Dexter. Velma was preceded in death by her husband, Warren Barker, and her parents, Marie and Robert Burnett.
Velma is survived by her daughters, Sandra Barker and Ruthie Gorbey and husband, Kevin; by three grandchildren, Amanda Diaz, Jason Penn and Amy Smith; by four great grandchildren, Caitlyn Barker, Liam Diaz, Thomas Beard and Xander Searcy; and by numerous other relatives and friends.
Friends may call at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter from 11:00 A.M. to 2:00 P.M., Monday, December 3, 2012. A graveside service and interment will follow at Dexter Cemetery.

Louise Welch, daughter of the late Wesley McCollough and Ethel Hutchcraft McCollough, was born April 25, 1932, in Dexter, Missouri, and departed this life at Missouri Southern Healthcare in Dexter, Missouri, on November 30, 2012, at the age of 80.
Mrs. Welch was a member of the Rivers of Life Christian Center in Dexter. She had been employed as an operator for Southwestern Bell Telephone, in the deli of Town & Country Supermarket and as a health aide with the Dexter Visiting Nurses Association.
She was united in marriage to Bobby J. Welch on October 22, 1951, in Piggott, Arkansas. Mr. Welch preceded her in death on April 13, 2005.
She is survived by one daughter, Cindy Golden and her husband, Danny, of Bloomfield, Missouri, two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Dale McCollough, John McCollough and Louie McCollough.
