Reva Medlin, daughter of the late Ralph Beaird and Cassie Onedia Murphy Beaird was born on February 8, 1929 atBernie Missouri, and departed this life in the Saint Francis Medical Center at Cape Girardeau on June 16, 2012 at the age of 83.

Mrs. Medlin was a former line worker for the Rexall Factory, she was then employed by Dr. Bess in Malden from 1995-2011 as a secretary and she was a resident of Bernie.

She was united in marriage to Melvin Medlin on October 29, 1944 at Malden.  Mr. Medlin preceded her in death on October 20, 1995.

She is survived by three brothers, Donald Beaird of Maryland Heights, Wesley Beaird and Ronald Beaird both of Bernie;and by three sisters, Mary Blevins, Audrey Hatchel and Neva Wilson all of Bernie.

Besides her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Weston Beaird and Kenneth Beaid; and by three sisters, Ruby Nunn, Geneva Poston and Louella Smith.

Friends may call from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m., Monday, June 18, 2012,  at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Bernie Funeral services will then be conducted at 1 p.m., Monday, June 18, 2012 in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel in Bernie.  Interment will follow in the Bernie Cemetery.
