Juli Hunt, daughter of Robert Paddock of Kennett and the late Wanda Fowlkes Paddock was born on August 31, 1972 at Sikeston and departed this life in the Barnes-Jewish Hospital at St. Louis on December 12, 2011 at the age of 39.
Juli was a Registered Nurse at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center working on the Medical Surgery Floor and a resident of Dexter.
She was united in marriage to Ronald Hunt on September 27, 2003 at Dexter. Ronald survives of the home in Dexter.
Besides her, she is survived by one daughter, Rylee Hunt of the home: by her father and step-mother, Robert and Pat Paddock of Kennett: by one brother, Jeffrey Paddock and wife Patty of Malden: by one her sister in law, Jana Paddock of Bernie: by two nieces, Holly King and Crystal Buffaloe both of Columbia: by her father in law, Fred Hunt of Dexter.
Besides her mother, she was preceded in death by one brother, Jim Paddock: by her maternal grandparents, James and Louise Fowlkes: by her paternal grandparents, Freeman and Audrey Paddock.
Friends may call at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter from 1 until 3 p.m., Wednesday, December 14, 2011. Funeral services will then be conducted at 3 p.m., in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel in Dexter. Interment will follow in the Hagy Cemetery.
Nancy Rankins, daughter of the late Vernal M. Jones and Edith E. Perry Jones was born on February 3, 1941 in Rock County, Wisconsin and departed this life at the Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, Missouri on December 11, 2011 at the age of 70 years.
Mrs. Rankins enjoyed crafting, painting, country music, knitting, puzzles, and crocheting. Nancy loved drinking coffee and spending time with her husband in the morning. She was a resident of Dexter, Missouri.
She was united in marriage to Ray Rankins Sr. in 1959 in Beloit, Wisconsin. Mr. Rankins survives of the home in Dexter.
Besides her husband, survivors include one son Ray (Chris) Rankins Jr. of Dexer; by one daughter, Nancee Rae Rankins Scharine of Afton, Wisconsin; by two brothers, Richard Jones and Michael Jones both of Brodhead, Wisconsin; one sister, Donna Jones Brady of Arleta, California; also by eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by three brothers, Jerry Jones, Ronald Jones, and James Jones; by one sister, Patrica Jones Groth.
No services will be held at this time for Mrs. Rankins with Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home conducting arrangements.

He was of the Methodist Faith.
On February 20, 1981, he was married to Eloise Christian in Abbeville, Louisiana.
Surviving is his wife Eloise Nicholson of Walls, Mississippi. One daughter: Mary Ann Moyer of Sikeston, Missouri, one son Scott Nicholson of Florida, and one stepson Tony Roper of Dexter Missouri. Seven grandchildren. Other relatives and many friends also survive. He was preceded in death by one sister: Joyce Kirkpatrick and one daughter Gail Nicholson who died in infancy.
Visitation will be Tuesday, December 13, 2011, after 10:00 AM at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Dexter, Missouri.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday December 13, 2011, at 11:00 PM at the Watkins & Sons Chapel in Dexter, Missouri with Rev. Kenneth Biggs of Dexter, Missouri officiating.

He had been a resident of Puxico for 40 years. He attended the Woodland High School in Marble Hill. Mr. Ramsey was a veteran of the US Army. He was a graduate of the University of Missouri where he received his BS in Animal Science and completed his masters and Specialist Degrees in Education. He taught vocational agriculture and was the advisor for the Fredericktown, Puxico and Dexter FFA chapters. After he retired from education he was employed by the University of Missouri Extension in Ellington where he served as an Agribusiness Specialist. He most recently worked with the Missouri AgriAbility Project. He took great pride in his work and received many accolades.
He attended the Puxico First General Baptist Church and had served on the Puxico School Board. He enjoyed working on his farm, attending his cattle, helping people, traveling, working his garden, hunting, fishing and spending time with his family.
On January 26, 1969 he was married to Wanda Barks in Marble Hill, Missouri.
Surviving are his wife: Wanda Ramsey of Puxico, Missouri. One son: Tyler Ramsey of Kansas City, Missouri. One daughter Regina (Randy) Stephens of Puxico, Missouri. One granddaughter Lily Stephens. One sister: Elizabeth Gable of Oak Ridge, Missouri. Other relatives and friends also survive. He is preceded in death by one brotherLloyd "Wesley" Ramsey and his Grandparents who raised him Jim W. and Alice Baker.
Visitation will be held Monday December 12, 2011 after 5:00 PM at the Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Puxico, Missouri

Mrs. Lindsay was a former L.P.N. at Vintage Villa Nursing Home in Dexter, member of the Taylor General Baptist Church in Essex, Missouri, and a resident of Dexter.
On September 28, 1934 she was united in marriage to Thelmer Lindsay in Piggott, Arkansas. Mr. Lindsay preceded her in death on February 7, 1960.
Survivors include one son, Harold Lindsay of Dexter; by one sister Lucille Lawrence of Windfall, Indiana; also by eight grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, and several great-great-grandchildren.
Besides her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by two daughters, Norma Cox and Celia Peck; by one brother, Walter Creed, and by one sister, Chloteel Middleton.
