Thelma L. Lindsay

Thelma L. Lindsay Thelma Lindsay, daughter of the late Albert Creed and Mary Swinger Creed was born on February 27, 1919 in Essex, Missouri and departed this life at the Golden Living Center in Dexter, Missouri on December 10, 2011 at the age of 92 years.
Mrs. Lindsay was a former L.P.N. at Vintage Villa Nursing Home in Dexter, member of the Taylor General Baptist Church in Essex, Missouri, and a resident of Dexter.
On September 28, 1934 she was united in marriage to Thelmer Lindsay in Piggott, Arkansas. Mr. Lindsay preceded her in death on February 7, 1960.
Survivors include one son, Harold Lindsay of Dexter; by one sister Lucille Lawrence of Windfall, Indiana; also by eight grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, and several great-great-grandchildren.
Besides her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by two daughters, Norma Cox and Celia Peck; by one brother, Walter Creed, and by one sister, Chloteel Middleton.
Friends may call at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter from 5:00 until 8:00 P.M. Sunday December 11, 2011. Funeral services will be conducted on Monday December 12, 2011 at 10:00 A.M. in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel in Dexter with Rev. Dewight Hensley officiating. Interment will follow in the Dexter Cemetery.
