She had lived in Dexter, Missouri most of her life. She attended the First Presbyterian Church in Dexter, Missouri. She had worked at Bruce's Big Star and then the Piggly Wiggly Store for many years in bookkeeping and as a checker. She loved sewing, quilting, cooking and fishing.
On September 29, 1942 she was married to Floyd James Hoffman in Piggott, Arkansas. He preceded her in death on November 21, 2007.
Surviving are three daughters and spouses, Judy and Jim Cochran of Doniphan, Missouri, Jane Cathey and Susan and Steve Watkins all of Dexter, Missouri; eight grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren, two step-great grandchildren; and one brother, LaRue Grim of San Francisco, California. Other relatives and friends also survive. She was preceded in death by three sisters, Tola, Lora and Myrtle and one brother, Walter.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 8, 2011, at 11 a.m., at the Watkins and Sons Funeral Home, Missouri with the Rev. Tom Bass of Cape Girardeau, Missouri officiating.
Interment will be in the Dexter Cemetery in Dexter, Missouri with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter, Missouri in charge of arrangements.
Eloise E. McCarty, daughter of Oscar Thomas and Willie Mae Graham Ashby, was born in Brewers Lake, Missouri, on July 31, 1925, and passed away at the Missouri Southern Healthcare in Dexter, Missouri on December 4, 2011, at the age of 86.
She had lived in the Dexter, Missouri area most of her life. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Dexter and long time member of the Eastern Star.
On May 19, 1969 Eloise was married to William "Bill" McCarty in Charleston, Missouri he preceded her in death on January 3, 1981.
Surviving are one son: Sam Sneed of Pinkneyville, Illinois and one daughter Judy Sneed Brown of Dexter, Missouri; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Other relatives and friends also survive. She was preceded in death by five brothers John, Robert, Clifford, Clyde, Raymond and Alfred Ashby.

Interment will be in the Webb - Sprinkles Cemetery in Dexter, Missouri with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter, Missouri in charge of arrangements.
Glenneth Jewell Goff Robison, daughter of the late Herbert Franklin Goff and Pearl Marie Kinder Goff, was born on July 16, 1920 in Stoddard County and departed this life in the Jackson Manor on December 3, 2011 at the age of 91.
Ms. Robison was a former seamstress at Elder Manufacturing in Bloomfield, a former resident of Bloomfield and was currently residing at Jackson.
She was united in marriage to Argul Robison on April 8, 1940 at Piggott, Arkansas. Mr. Robison preceded her in death.
She is survived by one son, Michael I. Hobbs and wife, Patty of Dexter: by two daughters, Rose Marie Kinder-Brock and husband, Baird of Warrensburg and Wilma Lee Kincy and husband, David of Jackson: by two sisters, Allen Goff of Stuarts Draft, Virginia and Jimmy Goff of Lakeland, Florida: by three sisters, Virginia Hopkins of Bloomfield, Dorothy Kight of Kirkwood and Betty Gregory of Cape Girardeau: by six grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.
Besides her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by six brothers and one sister.
Friends may call at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter from 9:30 until 11 a.m., Tuesday, December 6, 2011. Funeral services will then be conducted at 11 a.m.,. in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel in Dexter with Rev. Luther Rhodes officiating.
Interment will follow in the Bloomfield Cemetery.
Loyd Denzil McCain, son of the late Johnie McCain and Lillie White McCain was born on July 23, 1928 in Bernie and died on December 2 , 2011 at the Golden Living Center in Malden at the age of 83.

Farril D Wells, son of the late Levi Adolph Wells and Edith Phillips Wells was born on November 19, 1953 in Vanduser, Missouri and died on November 29, 2011 in the Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau at the age of 58.
Mr. Wells was a resident of Dudley and worked most of his life as a Dairy Farmer. Mr. Wells was of the Baptist faith.
On June 17, 1976 he was united in marriage to Barbara Britton in Ghent, Kentucky. Mrs. Wells survives of their home in Dudley.
Besides his wife he is survived by one son, Christopher Wells of Dudley; by three daughters, Wendy Barker of Garden City, Missouri, April Dyle of Dexter and Crystal Strickland of Dudley; by two sisters, Betty Wells Clark of Sikeston and Carolyn Hayden of Charleston and by six grandchildren.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by three brothers, Sherman Wells, Vernon Wells and Harold Wells and by five sisters; Helen Lovins, Teresa Mae Warren, Mary Wells Pullum, Opal Holman and Wilma Break.
