Riverboats to Begin Docking at Riverfront on August 2nd in Cape Girardeau

Cape Girardeau, MIssouri - With Mississippi River levels receding and floodgates open, riverboats will continue docking at Riverfront Park starting on Friday, Aug. 2.

Please note that schedules are subject to last-minute addition or change. 

Aug. 2, 8 a.m. - Queen of the Mississippi

Aug. 3, 8 a.m. - American Queen

Aug. 3, 12 p.m. - American Duchess

Aug. 13, 8:30 a.m. - America

Aug. 29, 7 a.m. - American Duchess

Sept. 3, 8:30 a.m. - American Harmony

Sept. 8, 8:30 a.m. - Queen of the Mississippi

Sept. 18, 1:30 p.m. - Queen of the Mississippi

Sept. 22, 8:30 a.m. - Queen of the Mississippi

Oct. 2, 1:30 p.m. - Queen of the Mississippi

Dec. 5, 12 p.m. - American Duchess

Stoddard County Route P Closed for Pavement Repairs

Route P in Stoddard County will be closed as Missouri Department of Transportation crews perform overlay. 

This section of roadway is located from Route 91 to Route Y.

Weather permitting, work will take place Tuesday, July 30 through Thursday, Aug. 1 from 6:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. daily. Open to local traffic only.

The work zone will be marked with signs.  Motorists are urged to use extreme caution while traveling near the area.

Crystal Hart Still Missing in Stoddard County

Crystal Marie Brown-Hart was last seen in Poplar Bluff, Missouri, on April 9, 2019. Her family filed a missing persons report with Butler County authorities, and the case was turned over to the Dexter Police Department.

Reportedly, Crystal arrived at a residence in Poplar Bluff on Township Line Road on April 9th. From there, she phoned a friend in Dexter at approximately 2:30 a.m. April 10th and said she was coming back to Dexter, as she had to go back to work at 6:00 a.m..The friend reported Crystal seemed confused and disoriented on the phone.

She left, alone, driving a black, four door, Mitsubishi Lancer with a possible Missouri registration of XB2D3M.

She is described as 4', 11", and weighs 100 pounds.
