2017 Bloomfield Junior High Boys Basketball Schedule Set

Bloomfield, Missouri - The Bloomfield Junior High Boys Basketball team is slated for their first game against Advance on October 5, 2017 at 6 p.m. Their first home game will be on October 12th when they host Richland.

The Wildcats will participate in the Fisk Boys Basketball Tournament November 6th - 9th and the SCAA Tournament November 11th - 14th.  All games are scheduled to start at 6 p.m. except the Tournaments.

Bloomfield High School Volleyball Schedule Announced

Bloomfield, Missouri - The Bloomfield High School Lady Wildcats Volleyball Team will begin their season on August 18th at Greenville.  Junior Varsity games begin at 6 p.m. with the Varsity game to follow unless otherwise noted on the schedule.

The Lady Wildcats will compete in the SEMO Tournament on September 8 - 9th in Cape Girardeau, the Perryville Tournament on September 30th and the SCAA Tournament at Woodland on October 2nd - 6th.  District Tournament play will be in Puxico on October 16th - 19th.  Tournament brackets will be posted on the ShowMe Times when seedings are released closer to the time of the tournament.

Home opener will be August 28th against Twin Rivers.

Bloomfield 2017 Fall Baseball Schedule Released

Bloomfield, Missouri - The 2017 Bloomfield R-14 Fall Baseball Schedule has been released.  The Bloomfield Wildcats will open at Piedmont to play in the Clearwater Jamboree on Saturday, August 12th at noon.  They will also compete in the Bernie Round Robin on Saturday, August 26th.

Bloomfield will host a Round Robin on Saturday, September 9th against Van Buren and Advance.  They will then compete at the Bernie Fall Baseball Tournament on September 23rd - 27th.

The Bloomfield Wildcats will end their Fall Baseball schedule on October 4th at home against Leopold.

2017 Bloomfield High School Girls Basketball Awards

Bloomfield, Missouri - Bloomfield High School held their annual Athletic Honors Ceremony on Tuesday, April 25, 2017 at the Bloomfield High School gym along with the middle school athletes.

Coaches for the girls basketball team is Louis Bell.

Awards presented were Most Valuable Player, Defensive Player of the Year, Offensive Player of the Year, Most Improved Player of the Year and the Wildcat Award.

"First game of the season and we score off of the tip - Jenna Yates," commented head coach Louis Bell.  "then Kaylee Roper hits a 3-pointer and the crowd went wild!"

"Well the rest of the game did not go quite so well against South Pemiscot, but we faced them again in the District Tournament.  I  could not believe how much these girls improved over the course of their first season," continued Bell.

"I can't express enough of how proud of these girls I am.  To be as successful as they are in all aspects of their lives and to have the courage they had to compete against other girls who have been playing basketball for many years on top of doing that in front of everyone who came out to the games.  Believe me it took a lot of courage!"

Most Valuable Player goes to Tyrah Hartle.

Defensive Player of the Year goes to Kaylee Roper.

Offensive Player of the Year goes to Michaela Tidwell.

Most Improved Player of the Year goes to Nicole Roper.

Wildcat Award goes to Lily Warrick.
