In Memory of Kenneth Wayne Black
Kenneth Wayne Black, son of the late Robert Black and Ruth Kirkman Black was born on May 21, 1958 in Dexter, Missouri and departed this life on August 25, 2018 at the Chaffee Nursing Center in Chaffee, Missouri at the age of 60 years.

Mr. Black worked as a Chicken Farmer and was a former employee of CC Contractors.

He was united in marriage to Glennda Allen on May 16, 1997 in Piggott, Arkansas.  Mrs. Black survives of the home in Bloomfield, Missouri.

Survivors include: one son, Tony Baker, Jr of Bloomfield, Missouri; three daughters, Megan Black of Dexter, Missouri, Marian Black of Bloomfield, Missouri and Elizabeth Black of Broseley, Missouri; one brother, Ricky Black of Rolla, Missouri; one sister, Mary Sanders of Festus, Missouri and by four grandchildren.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Ronnie Black; two sisters, Nelda Black and Trisha Black.

Memorial service will be conducted on Friday, August 31, 2018 at 5:00 PM at The Assembly Church at 20034 State Highway E in Bloomfield, Missouri.

Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter in charge of all arrangements.

In Memory of Elmer Gene Blankenship
Elmer Gene Blankenship of Bloomfield, son of the late Elmer Edward and Helen Geraldine Probst, was born in Advance, Missouri, on February 17, 1946, and passed away at the Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau on August 27, 2018, at the age of 72 years, 6 months and 10 days.

Elmer had lived in the Marble Hill area before moving to Bloomfield in 1996, he worked as a well driller.

On May 26, 1978, he married Martha Fay Bennett in Zalma, Missouri.

Surviving are his wife, Martha Blankenship of Bloomfield; one daughter and spouse, Marsha (Tommy) Richardson of Bloomfield; five sons and spouses, David (Lisa) Blankenship of Bloomfield, Michael Blankenship of Bloomfield, Barry (Natasha) Blankenship of Malden, Frankie (Donna) Tackett of Bloomfield; Larry Tackett of Bloomfield; seventeen grandchildren, four great grandchildren; two sisters, Linda Johnson of Benton, Rose Slinkard of Marble Hill; two brothers, Kenny and Orville Blankenship both of Benton, Missouri. Other relatives and many friends also survive. He was preceded in death by one son Tony Blankenship, and one sister Ruby Blankenship.

Friends may visit from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 1, 2018, at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Dexter, Missouri.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 1, 2018, at the Watkins & Sons Chapel in Dexter with the Bro.Ronnie Winchester of Brownwood officiating.

Interment will be at the Triplett Cemetery near Dexter with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter, Missouri in charge of arrangements.

In Memory of John DeRosia
John DeRosia, son of the late Maurice John DeRosia and Helen Jo Ervin Slaughter was born on December 25, 1945 in Vermont, Tennessee and departed this life on August 25, 2018 at his residence in Dexter, Missouri at the age of 73. 

Mr. DeRosia was a retired Staff Sergeant in the United States Army. 

Mr. DeRosia was united in marriage to Marilyn Stinnett on January 23, 2002 in Paragould, Arkansas. Mrs. DeRosia survives of the home in Dexter. 

Survivors include: his wife; one son, Jeremiah McCluskey of Orlando, Florida; one daughter, Marie Dawn Snider (Stan) of Dexter; two brothers, Floyd Slaughter of Parris, Tennessee, Pat DeRosia of Memphis, Tennessee; six grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. 

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister. 

Friends may call at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter on Wednesday, August 29, 2018 from 12:00 noon to 1:00 PM.

Following the visitation, a graveside service will be conducted at 1:00 PM at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery with Tim Zych officiating.

In Memory of Jeremy Wayne Vemula

Jeremy Wayne Vemula, the precious son of Jessey and Brittany (Revelle) Vemula, was born into the arms of the angels on August 24, 2018.

Born at 36 weeks, he weighed 7 lbs and was 18 inches long.

Although Jeremy never spent any time with us on earth, he was very loved and touched many lives.  Our little angel will never be forgotten.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his big brother, Jordan; his maternal grandparents, Lyndel and Elizabeth Revelle; his paternal grandmother, Sheba Vemula; his uncle Joel Vemula and wife, Mona; and his aunt, Nissey Vemula.  

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Rev. Charles Vemula.

Graveside serves were held on August 25, 2018 in Siddipet, India, where his parents currently reside and are missionaries in that region.

Brittany and Jessey would like to personally thank everyone for the love and support that they have shown during this time of grief.  They ask that any memorial donations be made to the Genral Baptist International Mission Headquarters in Poplar Bluff, Missouri/Vemula India Ministry.
