
Dexter, Missouri - On April 30, 2019 the Top 10% Honors Banquet was held at Dexter High School. Miss Alexis Smith was the speaker and honored guest of the evening. The event is held in conjunction with the Dexter Chamber of Commerce.
Dexter Chamber of Commerce members were on hand to celebrate the students' achievement of being in the top 10% of their respected classes. President Alisha Trammell spoke to the students and commended their efforts.
Laura Stone, DHS Counselor, introduced each of the honorees as they crossed the stage to receive their pin and certificate.
Freshman Class Top 10%: Addyson Atherton, Sajah Ballard, Annie Banken, Kennedy Bess, Bailey Colyer, Arielle Coyner, Abigail Dement, Alyssa Frizzell, Grace Hanner, Gerica Harris, Rachel Lin, Berkley Moreland, Dulcie Pullen, Isaac Sandage, Bailey Whitaker, and Mia Williams.
Sophomore Class Top 10%: McKayla Annesser, Brittany Baldwin, Emily Battles, Ryder Boles, Bailey Chamberlain, Jaycee Chappell, Andrew Ellinghouse, John Fortner, Evan Grobe, Alanie Lacy, Layne Medler, Damon Stearns, Justin Viers, Tara Williams, and Bronwen Young.
Junior Class Top 10%: Shea Baker, Victoria Bess, Fuyu Fujii, Madilyn Hampton, Shelby Haynes, Mason Keena, Audrey Lutmer, Olivia Milam, Brice Moore, Faith Owens, Blair Rogers, AnnMarie Slaton, and Madison Slaton.
Senior Class Top 10%: Anna Bishop, Sophie Freeman, Savannah Gourley, Eric Hahn, Brooke Hessling, Kelby Hill, Zarah Olson, Erica Parris, Coby Powers, Macy Roper, Brock Simmons, Joshua Sitzes, Emily Smith, and Taylor Watson.


G. The board approved Kevin Bishop’s resignation effective May 31, 2019.

Dexter, Missouri - Jordan Richardson of Dexter has received the Copper Dome Scholarship.
Richardson is the son of Jennifer Walton of Dexter.
He is a 2018 graduate of Dexter High School.
Many scholarship opportunities exist at Southeast Missouri State University.
