Southwest Elementary 2nd Grade Christmas Play
December 03rd 2017 by Dee Loflin

Dexter, Missouri - The Second Grade classes of Mrs. Galloway, Mrs. Keena, Mrs. Leonard, and Mrs. Massey will perform Elfis And The Sleigh Riders by Teresa Jennings on Monday, December 4, at 7:00pm in the Southwest Elementary gym.
In this classic rock'n'roll rendition of elf meets band, elf loses band, elf gets the band back together, the message is the nurturing of friendships. And there's some dancing reindeer.
"The music in the play is very reminiscent of a young Elvis Presley," commented Amber Duley, Southwest Elementary Music Teacher. "The students, as well as myself, have enjoyed learning the songs!"
