
Darrell Green, son of the late Bobby Green and Betty Hull Brown, was born in Bloomfield, Missouri on March 20, 1966, and departed this life at Prairie View Skilled Nursing in Bloomfield, Missouri on December 6, 2024, at the age of 58.
Mr. Green was a truck driver for 27 years. Along with spending time with his grandkids, he enjoyed going or drives, telling jokes and playing pranks and watching Walker Texas Ranger. He attended the Assembly of God in Bloomfield and was a resident of Essex, Missouri.
He is survived by one son Alex Green (Shanna) of Dexter, Missouri; one daughter, Ashley Comfort (Josh) of Dexter, Missouri; one brother Bobby Green, Jr. of Kilgore, Texas; three sisters, Nancy Barnfield of Jackson, Missouri, Susan Lortie of Lake Wappapello, Missouri and Donna Dunbar of Bloomfield, Missouri; seven grandchildren, Jase Ray, Wyatt Comfort, Clair Comfort, Raleigh Green, Oliver Green, Lennox Green and Kayson Green.
Other than his parents, he is preceded in death by his stepfather, Edgar Brown.
Visitation will be held at Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter on Tuesday December 10, 2024, from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. Funeral services will then be conducted in the Mathis Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday December 10, 2024, at 12:00 p.m. with Pastor Dwight Hensley officiating. Interment will follow in the Fairview Cemetery in Puxico, Missouri.
