Do you have a computer, a DVR or a copier you want to get rid of? The Bootheel Solid Waste Management District is sponsoring a recycling day on Thursday, October 10.
People can discard unwanted electronic equipment. The main drop off site is at the Bootheel Regional Planning Commission, 105 E. North Main in Dexter, MO (the old Armory building).
For the City of Puxico, Puxico Mayor Rick McLean has stated that if the citizens of Puxico wish to drop off items to be recycled at Puxico City Hall, the City will transport the items to the recycling site in
Dexter.
People may drop off any unwanted equipment at Puxico City Hall the Friday evening, October 4, through Thursday morning, October 10 ( until noon).
There will be a trailer placed on the City Hall parking lot for these items. The trailer will be taken to Dexter at noon on October 10. If you have any questions concerning this, please contact City Hall, 573-222-3162.
The following is a list of items that can be dropped off for recycling: computer monitors, servers, desktop PC’s, laptops, netbooks, Macs, tablets, keyboards, mice, speakers, modems, routers, cables, software, all components and accessories, printers, copiers, scanners, faxes, ink/toner cartridges, Blu-ray, HD DVD, DVD, laserdisc, VHS, Betamax, DVR’s, cable and satellite receivers, digital and film cameras, audio receivers, amplifiers, speakers, MP3 players, CD players, cassette decks, turntables, 8-track, boomboxes, microphones, mixers, rack equipment, and DAW.
