David Scott Williams, son of the late Earl C. and Doris Bland Williams was born on December 3, 1958 in Dexter, Missouri and departed this life on June 1, 2024 at the Crowley Ridge Care Center in Dexter, Missouri at the age of 65.

David was a lifelong resident of Dexter and was the Vice President of Williams and Son Appliance Service. David found great joy being able to work side by side with his father. David attended Risen Church in Dexter and Crossroads Global Methodist Church in Dexter. To hear David say a prayer was a testimony to his strong faith and love of Christ. He had a child-like faith and trust in his savior.

He is survived by his two big brothers, Dale and wife Cissy Williams of Oran, Missouri and Wayne Williams of Dexter, Missouri; by his nephews, Austin and Travis Williams; by his niece, Melissa Keller; by his great-nephews, Jackson and Rhyder Williams; by his great-niece, Ruby Keller; and a host of extended family and friends.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 4, 2024 rom 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at the Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter, Missouri.

Funeral services will then be conducted on Tuesday, June 4, 2024 at 12:00 p.m. in the Mathis Funeral Chapel with Rev. Travis Lambert officiating. Interment will follow in the Dexter Cemetery.
