Margaret “Rosey” Mayner, daughter of the late John Henry Mayner and Mary Irene Cagle Mayner, was born on July 6,1952, in St Louis, Missouri, and departed this life on May 14, 2024, at Pemiscot Memorial in Hayti, Missouri, at the age of 71 years.

Ms. Mayner had worked for the Sheltered Workshop in Dexter, Missouri, and she attended Lighthouse Christian Church in Dexter. She loved working and drawing pictures of diesel trucks and cats, and she enjoyed helping her niece.

She is survived by her niece, Ashley Keith and husband Shawn of Dexter, Missouri; by three brothers, Bobby Mayner of Dexter, Missouri, Billy Mayner of Tampa, Florida, and Loyd Mayner of Tupelo, Mississippi; by two great-nieces, McKenzie Keith, and Shawna Keith; and by her great-nephew, Logan Keith.

Other than by her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Mary Ann Skiles, and Pearl “Midge” Island.

Visitation will be held at the Lighthouse Christian Church in Dexter on Monday, May 20, 2024, from 5:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m.  Funeral services will then be conducted at the Lighthouse Christian Church on Monday, May 20, 2024, at 6:00 p.m. with Rev. Tim Russell officiating.
