Jerri leaves behind a legacy of compassion and dedication through her career as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA). Her innate ability to care for others touched the lives of many during her time on earth.
She was a devoted mother to her three children: Damien Frawley of Collinsville, Illinois; Freya Shell of Dexter; and Brooklyn Frawley of Collinsville, Illinois. Jerri found immense joy in spending time with her children and cherished every moment she shared with them.
Aside from her children, Jerri is survived by her father Jerry Lynn Greenlee and mother Melissa Leann Wood of Puxico, Missouri; two brothers, James Mattingly and Justin Greenlee both of Puxico, Missouri; three sisters, Casey Tanner of Newton, Kansas, Jessica Hendry of Puxico, Missouri, and Christina Wilson of Poplar Bluff, Missouri. Additionally, she leaves behind a host of other family members and friends who will deeply miss her presence.
Jerri's interests were rooted in her Christian faith. She found solace in reading and drew strength from her beliefs. Her kindness and warmth resonated with all who knew her.
A Memorial Service to honor Jerri's life will be held on April 27, 2024, at Watkins Funeral Homes in Puxico. The service will begin at 10:00 AM and conclude at 11:00 AM. All those whose lives were touched by Jerri are welcome to attend and pay their respects to a remarkable individual whose light will continue to shine through the memories she left behind.

Loyd Dale Conner son of the late William Loyd “Dub” Conner and Effie Eloise Causey Conner was born on January 23, 1955 in Poplar Bluff, Missouri and departed this life on April 19, 2024 at his residence in Ellsinore, Missouri at the age of 69.
Mr. Conner attended the Walton Chapel Church in Ellsinore, he worked as a farmer and rancher. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, and watching the deer and turkey that would routinely visit his yard.
He was married to Beverly Ann Conner in Ellsinore, Missouri. Mrs. Conner preceded him in death on April 23, 2022.
He is survived by two sons, Jeremy Conner of Essex, Missouri, and Cody Conner and wife Lorna of Dexter, Missouri; by his daughter, Jamie Kuykendall and husband Jeremy of Little Rock, Arkansas; by two sisters, Diana Mayberry and husband Larry of Dexter, Missouri, and Karen Ninos of Littleton, Colorado; by six grandchildren, Hayden Conner, Hanna Conner, Conner Kuykendall, Cain Kuykendall, Elle Conner and Clark Conner; and by his brother in law, Dale Hardin of Parma, Missouri.
Other than by his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Linda Hardin.
Visitation will be held on Monday, April 22, 2024 from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. in the Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter, Missouri. Funeral services will then be conducted at 12:00 p.m. on Monday, April 22, 2024 in the Mathis Funeral Chapel in Dexter with Rev. Rick Roberts officiating. Interment will follow in the Dexter Cemetery.
Barbara Ann Kegley, daughter of the late JC Eaves and Jacquline Hester Eaves, was born in Morehouse, Missouri on March 20, 1954 and departed this life at New Madrid Living Center in New Madrid, Missouri, on April 18, 2024 at the age of 70.
Ms. Kegley had worked at Tri County Health Care, Sikeston, Mo., Federal Mogul of Malden, Mo. And Wal Mart in Malden, Mo. She was a resident of Malden.
Survivors include, one son, Beau Kegley of Bernie, Missouri; by one daughter, Kindra Polito of Malden, Missouri; by two brothers, James Eaves of Jackson, Missouri and Johnny Eaves of Bernie, Missouri; by four grandchildren, Carleigh, Corbin, Landon and Lucas; also by other friends and relatives.
She was preceded in death other than by her parents, by one brother, Harold Eaves.
Friends may call at Mathis Funeral Home in Bernie on Thursday, April 25, 2024 from 12:00 Noon until 3:00 PM. Memorial services will then be conducted on Thursday, April 25, 2024 in the Mathis Funeral Chapel at 3:00 PM. Mathis Funeral Home of Bernie is assisting with arrangements.
Legendary Hall of Fame Cardinals manager Whitey Herzog has died, according to Herzog’s representative Kathy Dampier. He had been a guest speaker at the 18FORE Life Banquet in 2014. The event is organized by Scott Kruse and family.
Herzog was the Cardinals’ general manager for 18 years. During his run, he had 1,281 regular season wins and won three National League championships, including the 1982 World Series title, according to the Baseball Hall of Fame. While he was the general manager, the Cardinals had seven players who finished with high steal totals in 1982.
Before Herzog was with the Cardinals, he was with the Kansas City Royals from 1975-79, where he won 90 or more games.
Herzog’s last interview with First Alert 4 was in May 2023 after the passing of fellow Cardinals Hall of Famer Mike Shannon.
Mildred Claudine Fulkerson Miller, daughter of the late Claude Newton Fulkerson and Lena Camille Bean Fulkerson, was born August 21, 1930, and passed on to her eternal home on April 11, 2024, at Cypress Point Skilled Nursing in Dexter, Missouri.
Mildred was a member of the First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in Dexter, Missouri. She was a graduate of Bloomfield High School and was employed by Southwestern Bell Telephone Company for many years followed by her employment at Monarch Feed Mills, as Executive Secretary, then Collier Company Real Estate from where she retired.
On April 3, 1950, she was united in marriage to James Gregg Miller, Sr., in Piggott, Arkansas. To this union three children were born, Deborah Scott Miller Stidham (Mark), James Gregg Miller Jr. (Melanie) both of Dexter, Missouri, and Mary Beth Miller Williams (Rod) of Neosho, Missouri.
Mildred loved being a grandmother to James Scherer, Jason Stidham, Brent Stidham, Brandon Miller, Lauren Miller, Elliot Duckworth, and Zanna Duckworth; and great-grandmother to Lily Scherer, Holly Scherer, Callum Scherer, Holland Stidham, Kynlee Miller, Brock Miller, Landry Miller, Brody Duckworth, Emery Duckworth, and Sylas McCain.
Mildred was preceded in death by her loving husband, Jim; grandson, Jason Stidham, and son-in-law, Mark Stidham.
Visitation will be held at Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter on Monday, April 15, 2024, from 9:00 a.m. until 9:45 a.m. A memorial service will follow at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Mindy Kiepe officiating.
Mildred’s family would like to thank Central Gardens Assisted Living for their loving care while she was there, and to Cypress Point Skilled Nursing for loving and caring for Millie, as they called her, over the past two years. They would also like to thank Elara Caring for their excellent care and support during her last days and hours.
