
The Dexter Bearcats Track & Field Team traveled to Festus, Missouri and competed in the McCullough-Douglas Invitational on March 23, 2024. The varsity boys 4x800 Meter Relay finished in 1st Place with a time of 8:15.60.

The Dexter High School Boys Tennis team kicked off their season with a loss to the Poplar Bluff Mules (3-6)

#2 Rhyder Williams and Logan Reed (DEX) took a loss to Travail Towns and Aiden Castillo.
#3 Ashton Dvorak and Vivan Patel (DEX) also took a loss to Kurt Rosson and Matthew Penn.

The Dexter Bearcats Track & Field team were on the road at the Kennett Track and Field Invitational on March 21, 2024.
Meet Results
The meet is over, but results haven't been posted yet on Milesplit. Kennett High School may not post results; therefore no information could be obtained at this time.

The Dexter varsity Bearcats baseball team fell to the Kennett Indians on Wednesday, March 20th 4-3. The Indians were the first to get on the board in the second inning.
The 'Cats bounced back in the top of the third after an error on two runs, and one run scored on another play leading 3-1.
However the Indians retook the lead in the bottom of the fourth with a homer, scoring two runs to give Kennett the final edge of 4-3.
Beau Carrier began the game for the Bearcats. He gave up two hits and four runs over six innings, striking out two and walking four. Kennett allowed only three runs, zero hits and one earned over five innings, striking out seven and walking five.
Jackson Howard drove the middle of the lineup, leading the 'Cats with two runs batted in. Jaxon Miller led Dexter with one hit in three at bats.
Dexter will host Jackson High School on Thursday, March 21st.

The Dexter Bearcats Track & Field team opened on the road at the Notre Dame Frozen Invitational on Saturday, March 16, 2024. It was a beautiful day for track and a rarity this time of year.
The Lady Cats were highly competitive with the numerous high schools in attendance. They finished 7th overall out of the 21 teams competing from Missouri, Tennessee, Kentucky and Illinois.
Abbie Lloyd finished first in the Pole Vault.
"Our medalist was Abbie Lloyd," commented head coach Chad Jamerson "She continued to thrive as one of the top lady pole vaulters in the area. She participated in multiple events on the day and showed her leadership early in the season."
Karis Kennedy and Emma Pennington both had personal bests in the jumps according to Jamerson.
"All of our ladies 'showed up' and performed very well against a strong field of competition."
