Teresa Ann Worth-Throckmorton, daughter of the late Rev. W. H. Worth and Ilene Smith Worth, was born on July 21, 1957, in Sikeston, Missouri and departed this life on March 23, 2024, at her residence in Dexter, Missouri.
Mrs. Throckmorton had worked as a developmental assistant with Semo Residential Services in Sikeston, Missouri. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary in Sikeston and was on the Stoddard County Fair Board. She enjoyed playing cards, spending time with her grandchildren and attending church.
She was united in marriage to William Throckmorton, who preceded her in death in 2020.
She is survived by one son, Shawn Goodman of Dexter, Missouri; three daughters, Heather Annesser ( Eric) of Dexter, Missouri, Latisha Ivy ( Rex) of Dexter, Missouri, and Susan Throckmorton (Terry) of Poplar Bluff, Missouri; two sisters, Pamela June Dowdy of Dexter, Missouri and Nicole Worth of Dexter, Missouri; thirteen grandchildren, Braxton Britton, James Gage Britton, Mayson Casey, Kailey Goodman, Lydia Goodman McDonnold, Blaine Goodman, Luke Pfefferkorn, Myles Pfefferkorn, Shae Tidwell, Maranda Cato, Landon Annesser, Kendrajane Throckmorton and Kiersten Moore; twelve great-grandchildren, Legend Britton, Taylor Britton, Maverick Britton, Zamora Gross, Zailey McDonnold, Zayden McDonnold, Zaxton McDonnold, Prestyn Tidwell, Kaylar Tidwell, Jayce Tidwell, Colt Smith and Ryker Smith.
Other than her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by one brother, Harold Worth, Jr.
Visitation will be held at Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter on Monday March 25, 2024, from 12:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m. A memorial service will then be conducted in the Mathis Funeral Home Chapel on Monday March 25, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Dennis Ward officiating. Internment will follow in the Essex Cemetery in Essex, Missouri.

Stanley Teets, son of the late Harding Teets and Veda DeJournett Teets, was born on October 17, 1950, in Bloomfield, Missouri, and departed this life on March 21, 2024, at Crowley Ridge Care Center in Dexter, Missouri, at the age of 73 years.
Mr. Teets had worked for the International Hat Factory and IXL in Bernie, Missouri. He enjoyed woodworking, working on lawn mowers, bowling, and shooting pool. He loved singing music and playing the saxophone and harmonica.
On November 14, 1988, in Dexter, Missouri, he was united in marriage to Wilma Teel. Mrs. Teets preceded him in death on March 27, 2016.
He is survived by his son, Michael Teets (Collin Folsom) of Conway, Arkansas; by two daughters, Jenny Carr (Wesley) of Dexter, Missouri, and Amy Eldridge of Leopold, Missouri; by six brothers and sisters, Eldon D. Teets of Mt Clemens, Michigan, Brenda S. Schatz (Bill) of Advance, Missouri; Dennis R. Teets (Shirley) of Puxico, Missouri, Zelma A. McTurnan of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, Gwendolyn L. Shirrell (Steve) of Advance, Missouri, and Randy G. Teets (Teresa) of Jackson, Missouri; by seven grandchildren, Trinity Johnston, Mya Eldridge, Jonathan Eldridge, Zoe Eldridge, Eben Carr, Ellis Carr, and Chris Carr; and by five great grandchildren, Lennox, Harrison, Hayden, Henry, and Troy. He is also survived by five step children, Carl Duty Jr., Michael Duty, Timothy Duty, Keith Allen Phillips, and Pamela Cobb, and numerous step grandchildren.
Other than by his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Karen D. Williams.
Visitation will be held at Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter on Saturday, March 23, 2024, from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Funeral services will then be conducted in the Mathis Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, March 23, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow in the Gravel Hill Cemetery in Bloomfield.

Jerry Dwayne Corder was born February 16, 1939, to Herman and Roberta Corder in Campbell, Missouri and departed this life peacefully and at rest on March 21, 2024, at Saint Francis Hospital in Cape Girardeau, Missouri at the age of 85.
Jerry grew up and graduated high school in Puxico, Missouri and was drafted into the United States Army upon the insistence of President John F. Kennedy. During these early years he married and had two daughters: Cynthia D. Dreher and husband Kenny of Marthasville, Missouri and Misty G. Gibbs and husband Bryant of Dexter, Missouri. Jerry lived in Dexter most of his life. He was a well-respected businessman and gained many lifelong friendships. Other than Dad and Papa he carried many names but the one that he was most referred to outside of family was "Mouse".
Jerry worked hard all his life "beating out fenders" as co-owner of Corder and Crowley Auto Body in Dexter. When he wasn't working, he spent his time racing stock cars on the local dirt tracks. When he retired from racing, he started flying. He would build remote-controlled airplanes and fly them down at the Dexter Airport. He also took lessons and got his pilot's license. He would fly his family around at night in the Cessna to see the lights and on weekends down to Reelfoot Lake for breakfast. Jerry always had his hands working on something. A hobby, a home remodel, or a car repair. His last ride in the ambulance as they transferred him, the Paramedic said, "Let's fly".
Jerry eventually settled down his love for speed when he found his soul mate. On June 18,1999 Jerry was united in marriage to his most cherished companion Mary Margaret Corder who preceded him in death in May of 2023. During this union he gained three more beloved daughters: Dana Jennings and husband Tim of Fisk, Missouri, Cindy Suiter and husband Steve of Spring Branch, Texas and Pam Belvin of Dexter, Missouri.
He retired shortly after his marriage to the love of his life Mary, and they enjoyed many years of travel and searching for antiques. They shared the love of their little dogs as they traveled with them every place they went.
After the passing of Mary, he settled into their home to try to find a life without her. He often visited her at the cemetery and told her that he would see her very soon. He would take her flowers every week up until he couldn't get out to her anymore.
Along with five daughters, Jerry and Mary shared seven grandchildren: Carros Logan Shih (Steve), Jessica Corder Ruch (Brett), Joshua Ryan Shidler (Jessica), Amber Hampton (Brandon), Nick Suiter (Kelly), Stephanie Woodsmall (Colton), and Shana Smith (Hunter). Thirteen great grandchildren: Emma, Edison, Grey, Murphy, Fletcher, Shaylee, Brandon, Kenzie, Nicholas, Reed, Crue, Mabree, and Callie.
Jerry is survived by his daughters, grandchildren, great grandchildren and sister Sharon Crisel and husband Larry of Puxico, Missouri and a multitude of friends and loved ones he leaves behind. Jerry will be missed but we know he is rejoicing in the arms of Jesus with Mary and his parents Herman and Roberta by his side.
Visitation will be held at Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter on Thursday, March 28, 2024, from 11:00 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. with a committal service following at 1:00 p.m. at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield, Missouri where he will be laid to rest with full military honors with Rev. Larry Lawman officiating.

Lora Lee Cox was born October 7, 1942 in Stoddard County, MO the daughter of the late Johnie W. and Mary E. Osborn Pruett.
Lora Lee was formerly employed by Purolator in Dexter, MO, where she worked in production and later transferred to the warehouse distribution center. She also worked in the home health profession as a caregiver. Lora Lee was a great encourager and morale builder for everyone around her. Even after being admitted to Henderson Health & Rehabilitation Center, she would inspire the residents, their families, and staff with her positive attitude and genuine love for people. She was a caregiver to the end and was greatly loved by all who knew her. Watching the Hallmark Channel, Game Show Network, and baking her famous cookies and pies were among her favorite activities. Lora Lee was active in many different churches in the Dexter area throughout her life. Her love for the Lord was evidenced by her sincere and compassionate care for others.
Lora Lee departed this life on March 20, 2024, surrounded by her family in Henderson, Tennessee, at the age of 81 Years, 5 Months, 13 Days. She is survived by a son, Michael Cox and wife Tina; a grandchild, Micah Shackelford and husband Preston; and a great-grandchild, Ella Louise Shackelford, all of Henderson, TN; a sister, Freda Waggoner, and a brother, Cletus Pruett and wife Sharon, all of Dexter, MO; and many nieces, nephews, extended family, and dear friends.
In addition to her parents, Lora Lee was preceded in death by two sisters, Clodina and Velda, and three brothers: Edsel, Loren, and Carman.

Robert “Windy” Richmond, son of the late E. W. “Lige” Richmond and Hester Holcomb Richmond, was born on May 26, 1926, in Poplar Bluff, Missouri and departed this life on March 17, 2024, at Memory Lane in Dexter, Missouri, at the age of 97 years.
Mr. Richmond was a Veteran of the United States Army, serving in WWII and he was a former accountant for IXL in Bernie, Missouri. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Dexter, Missouri, and a resident of Dexter. He was a volunteer for the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield, and he enjoyed traveling with his wife.
On May 20, 1950, in Dexter, Missouri, he was united in marriage to Mary Jo Scruggs. Mrs. Richmond preceded him in death on January 11, 2005.
He is survived by his son, Randal W. Richmond of Dexter, Missouri, and by several nieces and nephews.
Other than by his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by five brothers, Harry Richmond, Carl Richmond, Wayne Richmond, H.M. Richmond, and C.L. “Babe” Richmond; and by his sister, Marjorie Justice.
Visitation will be held at Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter on Wednesday, March 20, 2024, from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Funeral services will then be conducted in the Mathis Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, March 20, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Mitch Grainger officiating. Interment will follow in the Dexter Cemetery.
