Terry Joseph Armes, son of the late Albert Armes and Alberta Burkhart Armes, was born January 20, 1950, in Bloomfield, Missouri and departed this life at Winchester Nursing Center in Bernie, Missouri on January 21, 2024 at the age of 74.

Mr. Armes was a former patrolman for the Kansas City Police Department and later worked as a lineman for Semo Electric Cooperative in Bloomfield, Missouri before his retirement. He was member of Bloomfield Church of Christ in Bloomfield, Missouri. He loved to deer hunt, piddle on his tractor, read and travel. He was also a master at one-liners and loved to tease.

He was united in marriage to Jeanie Duffey Armes in Bloomfield, Missouri on May 18, 1968. Mrs. Armes survives of the home in Bloomfield, Missouri.

Along with his wife, he is survived by his daughter, Dawn Armes of Bloomfield, Missouri; and two brothers, Gary Armes of Marble Hill, Missouri and Randy Armes of Fredericktown, Missouri.

Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Todd Armes.

Friends may call at Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter, Missouri on Friday January 26, 2024 from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. Funeral services will then be conducted at 2:00 p.m. at Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter with Matt Drake officiating. Interment will follow in the Walker Cemetery in Bloomfield, Missouri.
