Retiring 2023 DHS Winter Homecoming Queen, Callie Whitaker, Escorted by Cole Gibson.

Dexter High School held its 2024 Winter Homecoming coronation on Friday, January 19th at the Bearcat Event Center.  The boys basketball team hosted the New Madrid County Central Eagles.

The Retiring 2023 DHS Winter Homecoming Queen, Callie Whitaker was escorted by Cole Gibson.

She is a 2023 graduate of Dexter High School and is currently living in St. Louis where she is attending The Salon Professional Academy.

Her future plans after graduating are to start her career in cosmetology and begin working in a salon in St. Louis.

Cole Gibson is also a 2023 graduate of Dexter High School and is currently employed at WW Wood Project in Dudley, Missouri. 

His future plans are to move to St. Louis and begin a career in landscaping, hoping to start his own business one day!

2024 DHS Winter Homecoming Candidate Featuring Allison Turnbo

Dexter High School held its 2024 Winter Homecoming coronation on Friday, January 19th at the Bearcat Event Center.  The boys basketball team hosted the New Madrid County Central Eagles.

Allison Turnbo is a senior at Dexter High School and was nominated by the Boys Basketball Team.  

She is escorted by her brother, Devin Turnbo.

They are the children of Jason and Holly Turnbo.

Allison is a member of Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Future Business Leaders of America, DECA, Sr. Beta Club, Pep Club and she is the Regional and Chapter President of FCCLA.  She is also a member of the Girls Basketball Team, Football Cheer Squad and she runs Track.

Her future plans are to attend college and become a kindergarten teacher.

Her brother, Devin, is a sophomore at Dexter High School and is on the varsity football and varsity basketball teams.

When asked to describe Allison, he said, "My Beautiful Sister!"

2024 DHS Winter Homecoming Candidate Featuring Avery Riley

Dexter High School held its 2024 Winter Homecoming coronation on Friday, January 19th at the Bearcat Event Center.  The boys basketball team hosted the New Madrid County Central Eagles.

Avery Riley is a junior at Dexter High School and was nominated by the Boys Basketball Team.

She is the daughter of Andy and Natalie Riley.

Avery is a member of FCCLA, DECA, HOSA, Pep Club, Sr. Beta Club, Basketball Cheer Team, and varsity Volleyball Team.

Her future plans are to attend the University of Mississippi and obtaining a degree in the medical field.

She is escorted by Gibson Booker.

He is a sophomore at Dexter High School and is the son of Mark and Kristi Booker.

Gibson is a member of the Boys Basketball Team and Baseball Team as well as a member of Sr. Beta Club and Student Council.

When asked to describe Avery, Gibson said, "Avery is Outgoing, Pretty, and Bossy!"

2024 DHS Winter Homecoming Candidate Featuring Abbie Lloyd

Dexter High School held its 2024 Winter Homecoming coronation on Friday, January 19th at the Bearcat Event Center.  The boys basketball team hosted the New Madrid County Central Eagles.

Abbie Lloyd was nominated by the Lady Cats Basketball Team and is a senior at Dexter High School.

She is the daughter of Shawn Lloyd and Jamie Rowe.

Abbie is a member of Fellowship of Christian Athletes, FCCLA, Future Business Leaders of America, Sr. Beta Club, National Honor Society, and Pep Club.  She also participated in Cross Country, Girls Basketball, Track and Field.

Her future plans after graduation are to attend a four year university and earn a degree in pharmacy and also to compete in sports at the college level.

She is escorted by Hunter Massey.

Hunter is a freshman at Dexter High School and is the son of Matthew and Rebekah Massey.

He is a member of the Cross Country Team, Basketball Team, and Baseball Team.

He describes Abbie as "Athletic, Funny, and Charismatic."

2024 DHS Winter Homecoming Candidate Featuring Amelia Jenkins

Amelia Jenkins is a senior at Dexter High School and was nominated by the Kickin' Cats Dance Team.

She is the daughter of Eric and Christina Jenkins.

Amelia is a member of the DHS Kickin' Cats Dance Team, varsity Softball Team, Sr. Beta Club, FCCLA, and Future Business Leaders of America.

Her future plans after graduation is to attend Missouri State University - West Plains where she will join the Grizzlies Softball Team and major in Kinesiology.

She is escorted by Will Guethle.

Will is a freshman at Dexter High School and is the son of Shawn and Nicole Guethle.

He is a member of Student Council, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, varsity Basketball Team and Football Team.

Three words Will used to describe Amelia are "Kind, Funny, and Caring!"
