My family is a Stoddard County family, and we have Stoddard County values. My wife Bonnie and I have spent most of our years living and working and raising our family here in Stoddard County. We graduated from Dexter High School and then we graduated from Harding University where I obtained a bachelor’s degree in Business Management. We moved home, and then I quickly applied my business education by working in ag business. My brother and I own and operate Heartland Crop Consultants servicing farmers in our area. Bonnie is serving our community as a member of the Dexter School Board and works at One Mile Smile. We have three wonderful kids Kalee, Jackson, and Grant. My parents still live in Stoddard, my mother Phyllis is a retired teacher, and my father Marty is a retired farmer. My brother David and my sister Katie also reside in Stoddard along with their families. I love Stoddard County and want to give back to the place that has given so much opportunity to me and my loved ones.
One of the main reasons I am running to be elected County Commissioner is because I believe the time is now for the next generation of leadership and a change in leadership for District II. Upon being elected to serve you in this role, I promise to be a present public servant, who listens to Citizens and makes sound decisions with your hard-earned tax dollars. I will be a good steward of our County resources based on my conservative beliefs and business experiences. I assure you I will serve everyone in a most professional, responsible, and ethical manner.
During this campaign you will see me working hard and making my best effort to meet you, listen to you, and show you the kind of Commissioner I will be for the people.
Sincerely,
Wes Howard
