Janet Lorene Wright, daughter of the late Marvin Barrick and Jewell Burton Barrick, was born on July 1, 1958, in Advance, Missouri, and departed this life on November 9, 2023, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, Missouri at the age of 65 years.

Mrs. Wright had worked for Do It Best in Sikeston, Missouri, and was a resident of Dexter, Missouri.

She was united in marriage to Tommy Wright Sr. in Bloomfield, Missouri. Mr. Wright survives of their home in Dexter.

Along with her husband, Tommy, she is survived by two sons, Tommy Lynn Wright Jr (Brianna) of Bloomfield, Missouri, and William Dale Wright (Brittany Simmons) of Dexter, Missouri; by four sisters, Lois Lewis of Dexter, Missouri, Jo Anne Glueck of Vanduser, Missouri, Jean Alberson of Bell City, Missouri, and Paula Wright of Vanduser, Missouri; and by four grandchildren, Brianna Wright, Tyler Wright, Peyton Wright, and Ave Wright.

Visitation will be held at Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter on Monday, November 13, 2023, from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. A memorial service will then be conducted in the Mathis Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, November 13, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow in the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield.
