Susan Anne Dowdy, daughter of the late Bennie Carl Dowdy and Willette Tharp Dowdy, was born on February 14, 1961, in St. Louis, Missouri, and departed this life on October 23, 2023, at her residence in Grayridge, Missouri, at the age of 62 years.

Mrs. Dowdy was a former employee of Elara Caring Hospice.

She is survived by her son, Bradley Dowdy and wife Stacy of Essex, Missouri; and by six grandchildren, Hanna Eliot, Isaiah Eliot, Justin Eliot, Sydney Courter, Stephenie Courter, and Delanie Courter.

Other than by her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Roger Tharp, and Robbie Dowdy, and by her sister, Janie Forrester.
