Carl Earl Tudor of Bloomfield, Missouri, the son of the late Virgil Cecil Tudor and Charlotte Lillian Winson was born on May 3, 1954, in Sycamore, Illinois, and passed peacefully into the loving arms of Jesus on September 14, 2023, at his home in Bloomfield, Missouri, at the age of 69 years, 4 months and 11 days.
Carl lived in Colorado, Illinois, until moving to Bloomfield, Missouri, four years ago. Carl proudly served in the U.S. Army. He was of a member of St. Joe General Baptist Church in Idalia, Missouri. Carl enjoyed doing woodwork, raising livestock, and talking to people. His true enjoyment was spending time with family and especially spoiling his grandchildren.
Carl married the love of his life Linda Jeschke on December 17, 1980 in Sycamore, Illinois.
Carl is survived by his wife of the home; three sons, Virgil Tudor of Greenville, Tennessee; Carl Tudor, Jr. of Shelbyville, Illinois; Tony (Sarah) Tudor of Decatur, Illinois; one daughter, April Tudor of Amboy, Illinois; twelve grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren; one brother, Curtis Tudor of Poplar Bluff, Missouri; five sisters, Diane Groce, Laura Williamson, Teresa Groce, Ava (Jessie) Walker, all of Indianapolis, Indiana; Virginia Simmons of Bloomfield, Missouri; a close personal friend, Matthew Nugent; as well as a host of family and friends.
Carl was preceded in death by his parents; and one brother, Charles Bower.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Tuesday, September 19, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at the St. Joe General Baptist Church in Idalia, Missouri, with Pastor Jonathan Rice officiating, with Watkins And Sons of Dexter in charge of arrangements.
