Freda Williamson, daughter of the late James “Marion” Williamson and Irene Corbin Williamson, was born on August 19, 1939, in Dexter, Missouri and departed this life on July 11, 2023, at Cypress Point Skilled Nursing in Dexter, Missouri, at the age of 83 years.

Ms. Williamson was a former secretary for Otasco in Sikeston and the Estes Walker Knight Dealership in Dexter. She was a member of the South Pleasant Valley Church in Bloomfield, Missouri, and a resident of Bloomfield. She also enjoyed raising and selling mums.

She is survived by her brother, Glenn Williamson and wife Edith of Poplar Bluff, Missouri; and by several nephews and nieces.

Other than by her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, James Williamson; by her sister, Nadine Williamson; and by her nephew, Chad Williamson.

Visitation will be held at Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter on Friday, July 14, 2023, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will then be conducted in the Mathis Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, July 15, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow in the Triplett Cemetery.
