Doris Louise Fox, daughter of the late Marvin Lacy and Fern Swinger Gaines, was born on August 1, 1940, in Frisco, Missouri, and departed this life on June 12, 2023, at Winchester Nursing in Bernie, Missouri, at the age of 82 years.
Mrs. Fox was a former supervisor for Duchossois Industries. She was a member of Southwest Church of the Nazarene in Dexter, Missouri, and a resident of Dexter. She was also a volunteer for the DAV.
On November 28, 1958, in Clines Island, Missouri, she was united in marriage to Larry Fox.
She is survived by her husband, Larry Fox of Bernie, Missouri; by her daughter, Deborah Nelson and husband Terry of South Elgin, Illinois; and by two grandchildren, Ashley Nelson, and Joshua Nelson.
Other than by her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Shirley Seeger.
Visitation will be held at Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter on Friday, June 16, 2023, from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m.
Funeral services will then be conducted in the Mathis Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, June 16, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow in the Dexter Cemetery.

Daniel Stanley Young, son of the late John Daniel Young and Gladys Hazel Allen Young, was born in Bernie, Missouri on May 27, 1946 and departed this life at his residence in Bernie on June 13, 2023 at the age of 77.
Mr. Young was the owner and operator of Youngs Insurance Agency and Bernie Laundromat both of Bernie, Missouri for over 40 years. He also served on Bernie Cemetery Board and was a member of Northside Baptist Church.
He was united in marriage to Linda Sue Crider in Bernie on June 12, 1965. Mrs. Young survives in their home near Bernie.
Other survivors include, one daughter, Crendy Young Tarkington of Bernie; by two brothers, Rex Young of Coushatta, La and Dale Young of Bernie; by one sister, Donna Yeager of Dexter; also by other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death other than by his parents, by his grandson, Shannon Tarkington II; by three brothers, Johnny Young, Jimmie Young and Jerry Young; by one sister, Deanna Young.
Friends may call at Mathis Funeral Home in Bernie, Missouri on Saturday, June 17, 2023 from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM.
Funeral services will then be conducted at 12:00 PM with Rev. Ted Stone officiating.
Interment will follow in Bernie Cemetery. Mathis Funeral Home of Bernie is assisting with Arrangements.

Thomas Lesil Griffin Jr., of Wappapello, Missouri, son of the late Thomas Griffin Sr. and Zuella (Pendley) Griffin was born on April 27, 1934, in Hornersville, Missouri, and went to be with the Lord on June 11, 2023, in Poplar Bluff, Missouri, at the age of 89.
He lived in Southeast Missouri all of his life. Thomas was a member of the Faith Baptist Church of Wappapello, Missouri, where he served as an usher. Thomas was a United States Army Veteran. Thomas worked hard and took pride in making sure his yard was well kept, and he loved serving the church, but his true enjoyment was spending time with his family, friends and spoiling all children.
Thomas married the love of his life Ruby L. Parks on July 18, 1953, in Vanduser, Missouri and enjoyed her company just short of 70 blessed years before his passing.
Thomas is survived by his wife of the home; one sister, Deloris Garrison of Sikeston, Missouri; one grandson, Thomas Rust Brown of Jefferson City, Missouri as well as a host of family and friends.
Thomas was preceded in death by his parents; two daughters, Sandra K. Brown and Juanita Griffin; one sister, Estella Alberson.
Visitation will be from 10:00 A.M. until 12:00 P.M. on Friday, June 16, 2023, with the funeral service to follow at the Watkins And Sons Funeral Chapel In Dexter, Missouri, with Pastor Bill Richard Blagg of Wappapello, Missouri officiating.
Interment will follow at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield, Missouri, with Watkins And Sons Funeral Service of Dexter in charge of arrangements.

David Bryan Page of Dexter, Missouri, the son of the late Andy and Lynn (Pry) Page was born in St. Louis, Missouri, on November 25, 1961, and went to be with the Lord on June 9, 2023, at the age of 61 years, 6 months and 15 days.
David lived in the Southeast Missouri area most of his life, and was of the Christian Faith. David enjoyed golfing, fishing, hunting, and traveling on short trips. He loved the St. Louis Cardinals, St. Louis Blues, star wars and super heroes. David never met a stranger, but most important David loved spending time with family and friends.
He is survived by his significant other of the home, Angela Shaw; one son, Jonathan (Mallory) Page of Memphis, Tennessee; one brother, Jim (Rose) Page of Bloomfield, Missouri; three close personal friends, Stan, Rick and Roger; several nieces and nephews; as well as a host of family and friends.
David was preceded in death by his parents; and one sister, Vicki Page Renfro.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 15, 2023, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Watkins and Sons Funeral Chapel In Dexter, Missouri, the Funeral Service to follow with Pastor Charlie Robertson of Dexter, Missouri, officiating.
Interment will follow at the Walker Cemetery in Bloomfield, Missouri, with Watkins And Sons Funeral Service of Dexter in charge of arrangements.

Steven Charles Raby of Bernie, Missouri, the son of the late Charles Raby and the son of Vivian (James) Raby was born in Flint, Michigan, on December 8, 1970, and went to be with the Lord on June 7, 2023, at the age of 52 years.
Steven lived in the Southeast Missouri area since 1988, and was of the Christian Faith. He was a member of the Lighthouse Church of Dexter. Steven enjoyed fishing, swimming, bike riding, bowling, playing pool, competing in special olympics, being outside just enjoying life where he never met a stranger, but most important spending time with family and friends.
Steven was married to Tresa Davidson on March 25, 2016, in Dexter, Missouri.
He is survived by his wife of the home; one sister, Carol Smiley of Flint, Michigan; three nieces; a close personal friend, Ischmael; as well as a host of family and friends.
Steven was preceded in death by his father; and one brother, Carl Raby.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 13, 2023, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Watkins and Sons Funeral Chapel In Dexter, Missouri, the Funeral Service to follow with Pastor Tim Russell of Dexter, Missouri, officiating.
