Donald Lee Arnold of Puxico, Missouri, son of the late Benjamin Franklin and Izetta (Orman) Arnold was born on May 15, 1926, in Gideon, Missouri, and passed from this life on June 7, 2023, in Dexter, Missouri, at the age of 97.
He lived in southeast Missouri a majority of his life. He also lived in Rockford, Illinois working on a automotive line for the Rockford Clutch Company. He was of the Baptist Faith, enjoyed being outdoors, gardening, woodworking, building things with his hands all the while being known as a practical joker. Donald liked to travel, never met a stranger and truly enjoyed spending time with his family, friends and spoiling his grandchildren.
Donald married Joyce Marie Vails on February 3, 1945, in Piggott, Arkansas, and remained married until her passing on April 22, 1989.
He is survived by two sons, Donald (Sue) Arnold Jr. of Rockford, Illinois; Ben (Sherry) Arnold of Kansas City, Missouri; five daughters, Ginger (Doug) Holloway of Puxico, Missouri; Sharon (Nick) Pawelko of Rockford, Illinois; Debbie (Vic) Tartaglia of Rockford, Illinois; Sheila (Keith) Parks of Rochester, Minnesota; and Joyce (Mike) Renaud of Cape Girardeau; 16 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild; a close personal friend, his cat Newt; as well a host of family and friends.
Donald was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; one brother, Lee Orman; and two sisters, Learlean Carroll and Mary Gibson.
Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. on Monday, June 12, 2023, with the funeral service to follow at the Watkins And Sons Funeral Chapel In Puxico, Missouri, with Brother Krag Runzie of Puxico officiating.
Interment will follow at the Bollinger County Memorial Park Cemetery in Marble Hill, Missouri, with Watkins And Sons Funeral Service of Dexter in charge of arrangements.
Thomas Roy Passley, son of the late Joseph Passley and Mary Dillie Passley, was born on May 26, 1948, in Charleston, Missouri, and departed this life on May 31, 2023, at his residence in Poplar Bluff, Missouri, at the age of 75 years.
Mr. Passley was a Veteran of the United States Army. He was a former truck driver for Total Transport, and he enjoyed listening to music.
He is survived by two sons, Thomas Passley Jr. of Bernie, Missouri, and Steven Passley and wife Kittie of Poplar Bluff, Missouri; by two daughters, Angela McCoy of Chillicothe, Missouri; and Crystal Wilder and husband Richard of Ellsinore, Missouri; by four sister, Mary Lou, Diana, Jeanie, and Darlene; and by eleven grandchildren, and seventeen great-grandchildren.
Other than by his parents, he was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Alyssa Passley; by three brothers, Martin, Franklin, and Joseph; and by six sisters, Etta, Alice, Dorothy, Joan, Gay Dawn, and Louise
Visitation will be held at Mathis Funeral Home in Bernie on Monday, June 5, 2023, from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m.
Funeral services will then be conducted in the Mathis Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, June 5, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in the Bernie Cemetery.

Minnie Lee (White) Barnes, 98, of St. Louis, Missouri, formerly of Parma, Missouri departed this life on Wednesday, May 31, 2023 at 7:32 am. She was born June 7, 1924 in Blytheville, Arkansas to the late Rufus and Irene (Ash) White. She married the late Samuel Barnes on July 5, 1942 and to that union eleven children were born. Their legacy produced 63 offspring (11 children, 21 grandkids, 26 great-grandkids, and 5 great-great-grandkids.
Survivors include 2 daughters, Joyce (Barnes) Hodges, Shirley (Barnes) Dixson, and Samearl (Barnes) Henderson, all of St. Louis, MO; four sons, Edward R. Barnes formerly of Sikeston, MO, Rickey and Raymond Barnes, both of Parma, MO, and Russ Barnes of Atlanta, GA and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Four children preceded her in death: Mae Cherrie (Barnes) Landers of Chicago, IL; two baby sons, Jerry Joe and Samuel Barnes, Jr. both of Blytheville, AK and Irene Barnes of Parma, MO. Four grandchildren have preceded her in death: Antonio M. Landers (Chicago, IL), Michael D. Barnes (Parma, MO), Leah L. Dixson (St. Louis, MO), and Janee’ A. Welch (St. Louis, MO).
Minnie previously attended New Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Essex, MO and was a member of Mt. Calvary Baptist Church in Parma, MO at the time of her passing. She formerly worked for Federal Mogul (Sterling), DAEOC, and Tri-County.
Visitation will be held at Mathis Funeral Home in Bernie on Wednesday, June 7, 2023 from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. A memorial service will then be conducted in the Mathis Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, June 7, 2023 at 12:00 p.m. with Rev. Alvin E. Hightower officiating. Interment will follow in them Macedonia Cemetery in Malden.

Patrick “Pat” Neal Still, son of the late Clarence Robert Still and Alice Gockley Still, was born on January 13, 1968, in Landstuhl, Germany, and departed this life on May 27, 2023, at Southeast Health of Stoddard County in Dexter, Missouri, at the age of 55 years.
Mr. Still was a former truck driver and a resident of Dexter, Missouri.
On November 11, 1987, in Woodbridge, Virginia, he was united in marriage to Christine Stecyk. Mrs. Still survives of their home in Dexter.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son, Jessie Still of Jacksonville, North Carolina; by his daughter, Amanda Putnam and husband Michael of Sikeston, Missouri; by his brother, Gary Wayne Still; and by his sister, Carolyn Brazil of Charleston, South Carolina; and by many family and friends.
Other than by his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Robert Dale Still; and by two sisters, Jennifer Rountree and Cheryl Long.
Visitation will be held at Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter on Saturday, June 10, 2023, from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m.

Robert Lee Jones of Malden, Missouri, the son of the late Ola May (Jones) Getter "Big Mamma" was born on July 4, 1944 in Marvell, Arkansas. He passed away at his granddaughter's (Shay) home in Bernie, Missouri, at the age of 79 years 10 months and 19 days.
Mr. Jones lived nearly all his life in Malden, Missouri. Where he was known and loved by his community. He served in the United States Army in the Vietnam War. When he returned home he worked for Allen Christian and Bud Shell for 14 years. He also worked for Bell Young Farms and other farm work for 20 years. He loved fishing, working in his garden and working on cars. He also loved to BBQ and frying fish. He would always hang out in the yard with his wife talking to and about anybody.
Surviving are his children, Cathy and Tracy Hampton of Cape Girardeau, Missouri; Robert Jr. and Sydney Jones of Sikeston, Missouri; Barbara Daniels of Howardville, Missouri; Angela and Lee Robinson of Lilbourn, Missouri; Ulysses and Patricia Jones of Essex, Missouri; and Yolanda Jones and Henry Owrey of Springfield, Missouri;.
Also surviving one brother, Billy Joe Getter; 24 grandchildren; 56 great grandchildren; along with a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Earnestine Jones of 54 years 10 months and 26 days; one son, Orlando Jones; one daughter, Shirley Jones; one grandson, Cavasia Jones; one brother, Jessie Getter and one sister, Mae Ida Whittaker.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 3, 2023 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter, Missouri, with Funeral Service to follow with Minister Amos Hampton officiating.
Internment will take place on Monday, June 5, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield, Missouri with Watkins and Sons Funeral Home of Dexter in charge of all arrangements.
