In Memory of Bonnie Jean Pyle

Bonnie Jean Pyle, daughter of the late Ember Ellis and Chloe Ross Ellis, was born on July 17, 1930, in Bernie, Missouri, and departed this life on May 15, 2023, at Cypress Point Skilled Nursing in Dexter, Missouri, at the age of 92 years.

Mrs. Pyle retired from Elder Manufacturing in Dexter, where she was a seamstress. She was a member of the Evangelical Free Church in Dexter and a resident of Dexter.

On August 4, 1950, in Piggott, Arkansas, she was united in marriage to Noah “Mac” Pyle. Mr. Pyle preceded her in death on October 26, 1995.

She is survived by her son, Darrel Pyle and wife Toni of Dexter, Missouri; by her daughter, Lisa Moore and husband Nick of Dexter, Missouri; by five grandchildren, Hilary Duncan, and husband David; Miranda Harmon, Taylor Pyle and wife Kelly, Tyler Moore and wife Hannah, and Caitlin Pyle; and by five great grandchildren, Avery Harmon, Maelee Kate Pyle, Anniston Moore, Evelyn Pyle, and Noah Moore

Other than by her parents, she was preceded in death by four brothers, Kenneth Ellis, James Ellis, Charles Ellis, and Edward Ellis; and by three sisters, Jewell Beaird, Wilma Knight, and Evelyn Freeman.

Bonnie’s family extends a heartfelt thank you to Cypress Point and Elara Caring Hospice for their loving care and compassion.

Visitation will be held at Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter on Wednesday, May 17, 2023, from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. Funeral services will then be conducted in the Mathis Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, May 17, 2023, at 3:00 p.m. with Rev. Jamie Jones officiating. Interment will follow in the Chalk Bluff Cemetery.

Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter is assisting with arrangements.
