Mary Margaret Corder, daughter of the late Clyde Scroggins and Mildred Stobaugh Scroggins, was born on September 4, 1946, in Morrilton, Arkansas; and departed this life on May 9, 2023, at Cypress Point Skilled Nursing in Dexter, Missouri, at the age of 76 years.

Mrs. Corder was a homemaker and a resident of Dexter. For many years she was the treasure for the Northwest Oaks Homeowners Association, and she worked in the election voting polls.

On June 18, 1999, in Piggott, Arkansas, she was united in marriage to Jerry Corder. Mr. Corder survives of their home in Dexter.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by five daughters, Dana Jennings and husband Tim of Fisk, Missouri, Pam Belvin of Dexter, Missouri, Cindy Suiter and husband Steve of Spring Branch, Texas, Misty Gibbs and husband Bryant of Dexter, Missouri, and Cindy Dreher and husband Kenny of Marthasville, Missouri; by seven grandchildren, Amber Hampton (Brandon), Nick Suiter (Kelly), Stephanie Woodsmall (Colton), Shana Smith (Hunter), Logan Shih (Steve), Jessi Ruch (Brett) and Joshua Shidler; by twelve great-grandchildren, Shaylee, Brandon, Kenzie, Nicholas, Reed, Crue, Mabree, Emma, Edison, Grey, Murphy, and Fletcher; and by one great-granddaughter on the way.

Other than by her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Betty Scroggins, and Ruth Dial.

Visitation will be held at Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter on Thursday, May 11, 2023, from 12:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m. Funeral services will then be conducted in the Mathis Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, May 11, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Larry Lawman officiating. Interment will follow in the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield.
