The Missouri State Highway Patrol is committed to promoting safety through enforcement and education.
On April 12, 2023, Members of the Missouri State Highway Patrol along with personnel from the Stoddard County Sheriff's Department, Bloomfield Department of Public Safety and Stoddard County Ambulance District participated in a "Mock Crash" scenario at Bloomfield High School.
The "Mock Crash" scenario simulated a single vehicle crash involving multiple injuries.
The driver of the vehicle was arrested for driving while intoxicated during the scenario.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol provides educational presentations promoting traffic safety in an effort to increase use of safety belts and decrease the number of injury and fatality crashes on Missouri roadways.
