Dexter, MO - The 7th Grade Volleyball Team is ready to begin their season on Monday, February 27, 2023 when they travel to Bell City. Game time for 7th grade is 6:00 p.m. The 8th grade volleyball team will play after their game.

The 2023 Class 4, District 1 Boys Basketball Tournament seeds and bracket have been announced.
Games will be held at the Bearcat Event Center in Dexter. Admission is $6.00 per person. If you leave the game and come back it will be another $6.00 to enter.
Dexter earned the #1 seed followed by #2 Doniphan, #3 Notre Dame, #4 Kennett, #5 Fredericktown, and #6 Perryville.

Dexter and Doniphan received a bye for the first round.
Dexter will play the winner of the Kennett/Fredericktown game on Wednesday, March 1, 2023.
Doniphan will play the winner of the Notre Dame/Perryville game on Wednesday, March 1st at 7:00 p.m.
Championship game will be Friday, March 3, 2023 at 6:00 p.m.
Dexter, MO - Dexter High School honored senior Cole Nichols, #14, at halftime of the junior varsity game in the Bearcat Event Center on Thursday, February 16, 2023.
Nichols broke the record previously set by Brett Hale. During Brett's career at Dexter he led the Bearcats to multiple Bloomfield Christmas Tournament Championship, SCAA Championship and the Bearcats were consistently ranked in the top 10 of Class 3 boys basketball team within the state of Missouri. Brett recorded 1,812 points, passing Matt Pruitt as the all time leading scorer for the boys basketball team.
Cole has contributed to the varsity Bearcat basketball team all four years of his high school career. Last Friday night, February 10th in the last few seconds of the first half against the Kennett Indians, he knocked down two free throws to pass Brett at the all time leading boys basketball scorer for the Bearcats.
Cole would like to thank his parents and family for their continued support. His coaches for always pushing him and his teammates fro always being there and pushing him during practice.

Zalma High School will host the Class 1 District 2 Tournament February 20th - 24th. Schools included are Bell City High School and Richland High School in Stoddard County.
Richland High School earned the #1 seed followed by #2 Delta, #3 Leopold, #4 Bell City, #5 Scott County Central, #6 Marquand-Zion, and #7 Zalma.
Richland received a bye in the first round and will play the winner of the Bell City/Scott County Central game at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 22nd.
The other semifinal game will be at 7:30 p.m. following the Richland game.
#2 Delta will face #7 Zalma at 5:00 p.m. on February 20th.
#3 Leopold will face #6 Marquand-Zion at 6:30 p.m. also on Monday, February 20th.
#4 Bell City will play #5 Scott County Central at 8:00 p.m. following the Leopold/Marquand game.
Championship game will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, February 24th.
Holcomb High School will host the Class 2 District 1 Tournament February 20th - 24th. Seeds and bracket were released this week.
Cooter High School earned the #1 seed followed by #2 Bernie, #3 Neelyville, #4 South Pemiscot, #5 Holcomb, and #6 Campbell.
