The 2023 Stoddard County Athletic Association (SCAA) Varsity Boys Basketball Tournament is set for January 23rd - 27th at the Bearcat Event Center in Dexter. The bracket and seeds have been announced.
Dexter Bearcats have received the #1 seed followed by #2 Advance, #3 Bernie, #4 Puxico, #5 Woodland, #6 Bloomfield, #7 Richland, and #8 Bell City.

The Kennett Indians narrowly escaped the Bernie Mules in Game #15 of the 2022 Bloomfield Christmas Tournament. They won 87-83.
Tristan Johnson, a 5'9" senior guard had a tremendous game scoring a gam-high 44 points against the Indians. he recorded 14 buckets, five 3-pointers and one from the charity stripe.
Michia Schooley, 5'10" senior guard, contributed 21 points on six 3-pointers and was 3/3 at the charity stripe.
Kennett's Ashton Dislike, a 6'0" freshman forward and point guard recorded a team-high 16 points on seven buckets and was 2/3 at the line.
D'Shun Wilson and Blake Raspberry both tallied 12 points each. Wilson, a 6'0" senior point guard, recorded four regulation baskets, one trey and was 1 of 2 at the line. Raspberry, a 6'3" senior forward/center, tallied five baskets and was 2/2 at the line for the Indians.
Ashton Dismukes and Joseph Tribble each had 10 points. Dismukes recorded one bucket and two 3-pointers and was 2/5 at the line. Tribble had one bucket, 2 treys and was 2/5 at the line.

In Game #14 of the 2022 Bloomfield Christmas Tournament the South Pemiscot Bulldogs took on the Green Wave of Malden.
Malden jumped out to a comfortable lead and at the half lead 33 - 20.
Marcus Burton, 6'5" junior forward lead the with a game-high 18 points on six baskets and was 6/9 at the line.
Quamareous Farmer, 6'2" junior guard, contributed 17 points on four buckets and three 3-pointers.
`The Bulldogs were lead by Robert Farmer with 11 points. He sank four baskets and one trey.
Trevan Shuburte also hit double digits with 10 total points. He hit two buckets and two 3-pointers.
