Reba Ann Owens, daughter of the late Robert Henson and Flora South Henson, was born in Ethridge, Tennessee on August 15, 1936 and departed this life at Cypress Point Skilled Nursing in Dexter, Missouri on January 11, 2023 at the age of 86.

Mrs. Owens was a homemaker and a seamstress. She was a member of Bernie Church of Christ and a resident of Bernie.

She was united in marriage to Reuben Owens in Tunica, Mississippi on April 23, 1955. Mr. Owens preceded his wife in death on February 3, 2014.

Survivors include two sons, Buford Dwight Owens & wife Kelly Ann of Jackson, Missouri and Michael D. Owens & wife Stephanie of Bernie, Missouri; by one daughter, Melanie Ann Ayers of South Carolina; by six grandchildren, Natalie Ann Burnside, Scarlett Ann Dawson, Michael Paul Owens, Jessica Christine Cabaniss, Krystal Ann Hobgood and Waylon Dwight Owens; by thirteen great-grandchildren and other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death, other than by her parents and her husband, by one son, Reuben DeWayne Owens; and by two sisters, Gladys Abel and Ruby Karnes.

Friends may call at Mathis Funeral Home in Bernie, Missouri on Saturday, January 14, 2023 from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM. Funeral services will then be conducted at 12:00 PM in the Mathis Funeral Chapel in Bernie with Stan Dauck officiating. Internment will follow in the Bernie Cemetery.
