Phylis Jean Reinbott, daughter of the late Harold Reinbott and Elenora Lowery Reinbott, was born in Harviell, Missouri on October 31, 1947 and departed this life in Gideon Care Center in Gideon, Missouri on January 3, 2023 at the age of 75.
Mrs. Reinbott had worked at Brown Shoe Company in both Bernie and Parma until they closed and then for Tyson for 10 years.
Survivors include one son, Stanley McCollough of Dexter, Missouri and Paula Vincent & husband Kevin of Bernie, Missouri; by two brothers, Gary Reinbott of Dexter, Missouri and Curt Reinbott & wife Peggy of Doniphan, Missouri; by one sister Ruth Dugan of Parma, Missouri; by four grandchildren, Justin Cook & wife Carolyn, Gunner Cook, Tyler Vincent and Emilie Vincent all of Bernie, Missouri; by three great-grandchildren, Gabe Cook, Rolen Cook and Carson Vincent; also by other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death, other than by her parents, by three brothers, Harold Reinbott Jr., Joe Reinbott and Mark Reinbott; also by one sister, Shirley Crowell.
Friends may call at Mathis Funeral Home in Bernie, Missouri on Saturday, January 7, 2023, from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm.
Funeral services will then be conducted in the Mathis Funeral Chapel in Bernie at 12:00 Noon. With Rev. Steve Fitzpatrick officiating.
Interment will follow in Dexter Cemetery.

Jonathan T. Michael McGowan, son of Joey McGowan of Bernie, Missouri and Marcy McGowen of Bernie, Missouri was born on May 18, 1984 in Dexter, Missouri and departed this life on December 31, 2022 at his residence in Bernie at the age of 38.
Jonathan worked in construction with his father. He enjoyed riding motorcycles and was a resident of Bernie.
On September 22, 2018 he was united in marriage to Shonda Ferguson in Bernie, Missouri. Mrs. McGowan survives of their home in Bernie.
Other than by his wife and parents, he is survived by one son, Julian McGowan of Malden, Missouri; by four daughters, Megan Barbre, Joslynne McGowan, Justyse McGowan, and Jayla McGowan all of Bernie, Missouri; by one brother, Richie Darling of St. Louis, Missouri; and by two sisters, Keisha Darling of Illinois and Marisa Farmer of Bernie, Missouri; and by extended family and friends.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Jared McGowan.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 3, 2023, from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at the Mathis Funeral Home in Bernie, Missouri. Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, January 3, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. in the Mathis Funeral Chapel in Bernie, Missouri. Interment will follow in the Bernie Cemetery.

Wanda Faye Standridge, daughter of the late Warren R. Kem and Lillie Mae Chaney Kem, was born on November 18, 1943, in Fort Myers, Florida, and departed this life on December 29, 2022, at Southeast Health of Stoddard County in Dexter, Missouri, at the age of 79 years.
Mrs. Standridge had worked for Bloomfield Public Schools in Bloomfield, Missouri. She attended Walker Church in Bloomfield and was a resident of Bloomfield. Wanda was very witty and ornery, she had a great smile and personality. She never met a stranger, she was friends with many of the teachers she worked with, she had a wonderful relationship with all her children, and she loved her grandchildren and her beloved dog Foxy. She will be missed by everyone
On February 22, 1964, in Sikeston, Missouri, she was united in marriage to Charles Edward Standridge. Mr. Standridge preceded her in death on August 20, 2004.
She is survived by her son, John Standridge and wife Connie of Bloomfield, Missouri; by her daughter, Sandra Lynxwiler and husband Lyn of Bloomfield, Missouri; by her brother, Wayne R. Kem and wife Ruth of Jefferson City, Missouri; by two sisters, Randena McMillen and husband Arthur and Cathy Walters all of Sikeston, Missouri; by six grandchildren, Chris Lynxwiler and wife Ocean; Courtney Farmer, Daniel Finch and wife Haley, Bobbi Ann Finch, Nycole Born, and Kyle Whited and wife Hope; and by five great-grandchildren, Lane Lynxwiler, Maci Lynxwiler, Rylee Farmer, Marshall Finch, and Nina Whited.
Other than by her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her son, David Standridge in infancy; by her daughter, Barbara Finch; by her grandson, David Finch; and by her brother-in-law, Jim Walters.
Visitation will be held at Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter on Monday, January 2, 2023, from 12:00 p.m. until 1:30 p.m. Funeral services will then be conducted in the Mathis Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, January 2, 2023, at 1:30 p.m. Interment will follow in the Garden of Memories cemetery in Sikeston.

Opal Louise “Charlee” Allen was born to the late Miles Allison and Maudie May Fox on August 26, 1945, in Chaonia, Missouri, and departed this life December 28, 2022.
She was preceded in death by her brothers George, Leonard, Austin, Arthur, Frankie, Billy, Chucky, Bobby Jo, and John; and her sisters; Mary, Charlotte, Grace, and Glenda.
She is survived by her soul mate of 26 years, Darrell Slinkard; four children, Wanda, Michael, Cheryl, and Renee; five grandchildren, Samantha, Sarah, Johnna, Dylan, and Jonathan; five great-grandchildren, Landon, Jaden, Allison, Adelin and Wilson; and honorary children Darlene, Jeannie, Michelle, Teddy, Jimmy and Justin; and by countless extended friends and family.
Opal was a woman of insurmountable strength, determination, and dedication. She could do anything that she set her mind to do and enjoyed working outside, planting flowers, walks through the woods, and many other hobbies. Throughout her life she had worked at various jobs and had retired from Nestle-Purina after working there for over twenty years. She was proud of her family and loved them above all else. She had a sense of humor and enjoyed a good party with family and friends. She was selfless, giving and caring to others and putting their needs above her own. She was the best Mom, Grandma, and friend that we could ever hope to have had. We cherish everything that she was, what she has given to us, and the time that we were so blessed to have had with her.
Graveside services will be conducted at Walker Cemetery in Bloomfield on Saturday, December 31, 2022, at 2:00 p.m.

Junior Ray Pyle, son of the late Charley “Pete” Pyle and Geraldine Cooper Pyle, was born on February 14, 1948, in Dunklin County, Missouri, and departed this life on December 25, 2022, at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri, at the age of 74 years.
Mr. Pyle was a Veteran of the United States Army and he retired from the Missouri National Guard after 37 years of service. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge #532 in Dexter, Missouri, a resident of Dexter and of the Church of Christ faith.
On August 29, 1999, in Piggott, Arkansas, he was united in marriage to Norma Jean Underhill. Mrs. Pyle preceded him in death on July 6, 2021
He is survived by three sons, Brian Pyle of Dexter, Missouri, Joe Pyle and wife Leslie of Dexter, Missouri, and Marvin Wallace Jr. and wife Julie of Wichita, Kansas; by four daughters, Tammy Hoberecht and husband Troy of Wichita, Kansas, Tena Hughes and husband Michael of Wichita, Kansas, Sheila Haney and husband Mike of Dexter, Missouri, and Toni Davis and husband Tim of Sikeston, Missouri; by his brother, Michael D. Pyle of Dexter, Missouri; by two sisters, Etta Jean Ross and Karen Forkum both of Dexter, Missouri; by twenty-two grandchildren, Braden, Kassidey, Hannah, Emily, Katie, Kilie, Lucy, Adam, Andrew, Erika, Brandon, Tad, Hilary, Jessica, Ben, Sara, Jackson, Jessica, Kayla, Brad, Korie, and Erin; and by twenty-four great-grandchildren.
Other than by his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Michelle Bollinger; and by his brother-in-law, Kenny Forkum.
Visitation will be held at Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter on Friday, December 30, 2022, from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Funeral services will then be conducted in the Mathis Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, December 30, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Tim Russell officiating. Interment will follow in the Chalk Bluff Cemetery in Dexter.
