Junior Ray Pyle, son of the late Charley “Pete” Pyle and Geraldine Cooper Pyle, was born on February 14, 1948, in Dunklin County, Missouri, and departed this life on December 25, 2022, at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri, at the age of 74 years.
Mr. Pyle was a Veteran of the United States Army and he retired from the Missouri National Guard after 37 years of service. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge #532 in Dexter, Missouri, a resident of Dexter and of the Church of Christ faith.
On August 29, 1999, in Piggott, Arkansas, he was united in marriage to Norma Jean Underhill. Mrs. Pyle preceded him in death on July 6, 2021
He is survived by three sons, Brian Pyle of Dexter, Missouri, Joe Pyle and wife Leslie of Dexter, Missouri, and Marvin Wallace Jr. and wife Julie of Wichita, Kansas; by four daughters, Tammy Hoberecht and husband Troy of Wichita, Kansas, Tena Hughes and husband Michael of Wichita, Kansas, Sheila Haney and husband Mike of Dexter, Missouri, and Toni Davis and husband Tim of Sikeston, Missouri; by his brother, Michael D. Pyle of Dexter, Missouri; by two sisters, Etta Jean Ross and Karen Forkum both of Dexter, Missouri; by twenty-two grandchildren, Braden, Kassidey, Hannah, Emily, Katie, Kilie, Lucy, Adam, Andrew, Erika, Brandon, Tad, Hilary, Jessica, Ben, Sara, Jackson, Jessica, Kayla, Brad, Korie, and Erin; and by twenty-four great-grandchildren.
Other than by his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Michelle Bollinger; and by his brother-in-law, Kenny Forkum.
Visitation will be held at Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter on Friday, December 30, 2022, from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Funeral services will then be conducted in the Mathis Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, December 30, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Tim Russell officiating. Interment will follow in the Chalk Bluff Cemetery in Dexter.

McMillan "Mac" Mallory of Dexter, Missouri, the son of the late Melvin and Irene (Runyon) Mallory was born on January 24, 1940, in Dudley, Missouri. He passed from this life on December 31, 2022, in Memphis, Tennessee, at the age of 82.
Mac had lived in the Stoddard County area most of his life. He was a United States Army Veteran. Mac was a retired carpenter. He was of the Protestant Faith and a member of the Living Waters Church of Bloomfield, Missouri. Mac was a member of the Elks and also helped with the Meals on Wheels program. He enjoyed hunting especially turkey and deer. He loved horses, loved eating at Huddle House in Dexter, but most important, he enjoyed spending time with family and friends, especially his grandkids. Mac never met a stranger.
Mac is survived by two sons, Jeff (Tabitha) Mallory of Winchester, Tennessee, Don (Dena) Garner of Dexter, Missouri; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; three brothers, Donald (Nellie) Mallory of Dexter, Missouri, Jim (Melissa) Mallory of Ocean Springs, Mississippi, Ken (Leyda) Mallory of Mary Esther, Florida; two sisters, June Teats of Dexter, Missouri, Ruth (Ken) Tippen of Bloomfield, Missouri; one sister-in-law, Alta Mallory of Canton, Mississippi; a special sweetheart, Joyce Lacy; several nieces and nephews, and a host of family and friends also survive.
Mac was preceded in death by his parents; six brothers, Duane Mallory, Gerald Mallory, Dan Mallory, Charles Mallory, Dennis Mallory, and Lonnie Mallory; one sister, Irma Dellinger; one daughter-in-law, Debra Mallory.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, January 4, 2022 from 10:00 A.M. until the time of his service at 12:00 noon at the Watkins And Sons Funeral Chapel in Dexter, Missouri with Pastor Jim Hook officiating.
Interment will follow at Bloomfield Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield, Missouri with Watkins And Sons of Dexter in charge of arrangements.
Brian Keith Barnes, son of the late Grady O’Dell Barnes and Nancy Imogene Tate Barnes, was born on September 29, 1965, in Sikeston, Missouri, and departed this life on December 22, 2022, at Southeast Health in Cape Girardeau, Missouri, at the age of 57 years
Mr. Barnes had worked for Harps / Ace Hardware, Show Me Rent to Own and Town & Country, in Dexter, Missouri and he was a resident of Dexter. He loved his grandbabies, fishing, and Jesus!
He is survived by his son, Tylor Barnes (Mallory) of Puxico, Missouri; by two daughters, Tessla Barnes of Bernie, Missouri and Tamra Barnes of Essex, Missouri; by his sister, Dottie Parish (Charles) of Dexter, Missouri; by four granddaughters, Jasmine Qualls, Jaydn Qualls, Jenna Qualls, and Sophia Canull; and by four nieces, Julie, April, Jill, and Amanda.
Other than by his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Patricia Lambert.
Visitation will be held at Mathis Funeral Home in Bernie on Wednesday, December 28, 2022, from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.
Funeral services will then be conducted in the Mathis Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, December 28, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Tim Russell officiating. Interment will follow in the Bernie Cemetery.

Mary Lucille Henson of Bloomfield, Missouri, daughter of the late James Wilson and Nora Ethel (Tennyson) Trotter was born on March 18, 1928 in rural Essex, Missouri and passed from this life on December 28, 2022 in Dexter Bluff, Missouri at the age of 94 years.
She lived in southeast Missouri her entire life. Mary last attended St. Joe General Baptist Church in Idalia, Missouri. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, sewing and being the caretaker of the home. She also greatly enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
Mary was married to George David Henson on July 6, 1946 in Bloomfield, Missouri and remained married to him until his passing on September 27,1992. Mary was employed until her retirement in 1994 by Elders Manufacturing.
Mary is survived by her son Gary David Henson of Bloomfield, Missouri; Several nephews and nieces, as well as a host of family and friends.
A graveside memorial service will be held on Friday December 30, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at the Bloomfield Cemetery in Bloomfield, Missouri , Pastor Jim Hook of Bloomfield, Missouri officiating and Watkins and Sons Funeral Home of Dexter in charge of all arrangements.
Sharon Darlene Stickles of Dexter, Missouri, daughter of the late Walter Edward Politte and Tina Elizabeth (Foster) Politte was born on March 10, 1947 in St. Louis, Missouri, and went to be with the Lord on December 25, 2022, in Cape Girardeau, Missouri, at the age of 75.
Sharon lived in the St. Louis are until her early twenties when she moved to the Dexter area to spend her life with her husband. She worked as a custodian in the Dexter School System. Her favorite pastime was reading her Bible and channel surfing the Christian Channels. Sharon loved being outside and her world revolved around spending time with family, especially her grandchildren. She never knew a stranger. Sharon was of the Baptist Faith.
Sharon married the love of her life, Roy Lee Stickles, Sr., on September 18, 1967, in St. Louis, Missouri, and remained married until his passing on October 2, 2002.
Sharon is survived by one son, Roy Lee (Laura) Stickles of Bloomfield, Missouri; three daughters, Tina Griffin of Campbell, Missouri, Linda (Philip) Honeycutt of Dexter, Missouri, and Toni Stickles of Dexter, Missouri; seven grandchildren, Kortney and Bri Hicks of Jonesboro, Arkansas, Chris and Morgan Stickles of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, Michael and Lacey Griffin of Dexter, Missouri, Laura and Jordan Carmack of Bloomfield, Missouri, Sean Honeycutt of Dexter, Missouri; Kaylee Honeycutt of Dexter, Missouri; Matthew Honeycutt of Dexter, Missouri; three great - grandchildren plus one on the way, Zoey, Kora, and River; Two sisters, Judy Young of St. Louis, Missouri, and Kathy Politte of Farmington, Missouri, Adopted grandchild, Houston Lafferty as well as a host of family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; one daughter, Betty Stickles; five siblings, Walter Politte, Jr., Shirley Whitehouse, Freddie Politte, Betty Barton and Brenda Langley.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 29, 2022, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m at the Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter, Missouri.
Funeral Services will follow at 12:00 p.m. with Pastor Charles Robertson of Bloomfield, Missouri, officiating and Watkins and Sons Funeral Home of Dexter, Missouri in charge of all arrangements.
Interment will follow at Hagy Cemetery in Dexter, Missouri.
