Kennett edged closer to a victory in the second quarter with a small lead of five points, Once the halftime break was over the Indians demanded their top players to compete competitively scoring 53 points in the second half while the Hornets were offensively challenged scoring only 30 points.
Despite the loss, Jacob Reeves-Crittendon, a 5'9" junior guard, held the game-high 25 points for the Hornets. He scored only one bucket, but made up for it in 3-pointers pitching in five. He was 8/11 at the charity stripe.

The Bernie Mules held on to beat the Bloomfield Wildcats in Game #5 of the 2022 Bloomfield Christmas Tournament by a score of 72 - 60.

The Malden Green Wave squared off with the Richland Rebels in Game #4 of the 2022 Bloomfield Christmas Tournament. Green Wave was able to hold onto the lead and defeating the Rebels by only 10 points. Final score was 76-66.

The 2022 Bloomfield Christmas Tournament had its second upset of the day and a big one at that. The #4 ranked Portageville Bulldogs were defeated by the #13 South Pemiscot Bulldogs 63 - 54.
Trevan Shuburte, a 5'7" senior guard from South Pemiscot and Matt Moore, 6'3" senior guard both scored a game-high 17 points. Shuburte scored only one bucket, three treys and was 6/7 at the charity striped. Moore recorded four buckets and two treys and was 3/6 at the line.
Robert Farmer, a 5/3" freshman guard, tallied 14 points from five baskets, one 3-pointer and was 1/5 at the line for South Pemiscot.

Game #2 of the 2022 Bloomfield Christmas Tournament was a matchup between the #8 seeded Puxico Indians and the #9 seeded East Prairie Eagles. This was the first upset of the tournament with the Eagles defeating the Indians 62 - 48.
East Prairie stayed aggressive throughout the game defensively shutting down the Indians offense.
