Farrell Lee Bostic of Dexter Missouri, the son of the late Floyd Eugene Bostic and Mary Mae (Cox) Bostic was born on May 15, 1956, in Bloomfield, Missouri. He passed from this life on December 8, 2022, at his home in Bloomfield, Missouri, at the age of 66.
Farrell had lived in Bloomfield, Missouri all of his life. He was of the Christian Faith and attended New Beginning Tabernacle. He loved eagles, but most of all he loved spending time with his family, camping and always gave special treatment to grandkids. Farrell also loved playing music.
In 1990 he married the love of his life, Sandra (Phillips) Bostic, in Bloomfield, Missouri.
Farrell is survived by his wife; four sons, Chris Bostic of Lexington, Tennessee, Billy Phillips of Bloomfield, Missouri, Michael Phillips of Dexter, Missouri, Shawn (Jemra) Bostic of Lexington, Tennessee; two daughters, Amy Simmons of Brazel, Indiona, and Brandy Phillips of Dexter, Missouri; sixteen grandchildren and ten great grandchildren with two more on the way; two brothers, Dale (Joyce) Bostic of Bloomfield, Missouri, Darrell (Pat) Bostic of Idaho; one sister, Gayla Brockman of Virginia. Four close personal friends, Johnny McColley, Clayton Mensel, Steve Shipley and Tony Cullom. A host of family and friends also survive.
Farrell was preceded in death by his parents; and one sister, Glenda Phillips.
Visitation services will be held Wednesday, December 14, 2022, from 10:00 A.M. with the service to follow at the Watkins and Sons Funeral Chapel in Bloomfield, Missouri, with Pastor Gary Teel officiating.
Interment will follow at the Bloomfield Cemetery in Bloomfield, Missouri, with Watkins and Sons Funeral Home of Dexter is in charge of arrangements.
Samuel E. Sandage, son of the late Guy Sandage and Geraldine McIntyre Sandage, was born on March 2, 1951, in Sikeston, Missouri, and departed this life on December 5, 2022, at his residence in Oakland, Mississippi, at the age of 71 years.
Mr. Sandage was a Veteran of the United States Army. He was a former car hauler for Chrysler and a former fishing guide in Mississippi. He was of the Christian faith.
On October 2, 1970, in Essex, Missouri, he was united in marriage to Cheryl Noyes. Mrs. Sandage survives of their home.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son, Jason Sandage and wife Alicia of Bloomfield, Missouri; by his daughter, Christi Houchins and husband Larry of Wappapello, Missouri; by four grandchildren, Whitney Grubbs, Shelby King, Samantha Sandage, and Cody Swinney, by one great grandson on the way, Jack Edward Grubbs; and by his beloved dog, Punken.
Other than by his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Gary Sandage; and by his sister, Judy Massey.
Visitation will be held at Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter on Friday, December 9, 2022, from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.
Funeral services will then be conducted in the Mathis Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, December 9, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Dwight Hensley officiating. Interment will follow in the Bloomfield Cemetery.

Earnest Earl Young, son of the late James Arthur Young and Mattie Mae Tankersley Young, was born on August 11, 1923, in Clines Island, Missouri, and departed this life on December 7, 2022, at Crowley Ridge Care Center in Dexter, Missouri, at the age of 99 years.
Mr. Young was a former real estate broker and owner of Young Realty. He was a charter member of the Stoddard County Board of Real Estate, and he was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene in Dexter. Earl was very much a man of God. He enjoyed working in his workshop, tinkering with clocks, building, and repairing things. He loved going to garage sales and camping.
On June 28, 1942, in Dexter, Missouri, he was united in marriage to Neva Jane Causbie.
He is survived by his wife of 80 years, Neva Young of Dexter, Missouri; by three sons, Earl “Speedy” Young and wife Rosemarie of Pleasant Hill, Missouri, Chris Young and wife Lisa of Destrehan, Louisiana, and Mike Young and wife Jackie of Paulina, Louisiana; by his daughter-in-law, Carol Young of Dexter, Missouri; and by twelve grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.
Other than by his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Gary Young; by four brothers, Elbert Young, James Young, William Clayton Young, and Harold Young; and by two sisters, Bessie Vanbibber and Nellie Williams.
Visitation will be held at Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter on Saturday, December 10, 2022, from 9:30 a.m. until 11:00 a.m.
Funeral services will then be conducted in the Mathis Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, December 10, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Ken Harper officiating. Interment will follow in the Dexter cemetery.

Maryann Harmon-Coutavas, daughter of the late Walker Harmon and Mabel Wood Harmon, was born on October 5, 1943, in Puxico, Missouri, and departed this life on December 7, 2022, at her residence in Puxico, at the age of 79 years.
Mrs. Harmon-Coutavas was a former marketing director for AT&T. She was the secretary of the Puxico Improvement Corp., a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary in Puxico, and a member of the Puhicah Club in Puxico. She was active in prison ministry and the Tres Dias non-denominational for married couples. She was a youth leader and minister of communion at Fishkill United Methodist Church, and she founded the UMC food pantry in Puxico. She enjoyed taking mission trips to the Appalachian Mountains with her New York youth group.
On May 8, 1982, in Spring Valley, New York, she was united in marriage to Peter Coutavas. Mr. Coutavas survives at their home in Puxico.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her son, Peter Coutavas of Queens, New York; by three daughters, Angela Coutavas of Puxico, Missouri, Rachel Coutavas of Clearwater, Florida, and Kina Coutavas of Sarasota, Florida; and by four grandchildren, Peter Coutavas, Melanie Coutavas, Christina Coutavas, and Joey Borges.
Other than by her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Bill Harmon, and John Harmon.
Visitation will be held at Chapel on The Hill in Puxico, Missouri on Friday, December 9, 2022, from 9:30 a.m. until 11:00 a.m.

Thomas Wayne Mitchell, son of the late Jim Frank Mitchell and Betty Spence Mitchell was born on April 21, 1960, in Dexter, Missouri and departed this life on December 2, 2022, at Southeast Health Center of Stoddard County at the age of 62.
Thomas was a resident of Dexter and had attended the Lighthouse Christian Church in Dexter. He had worked as a tree trimmer and also ran a DJ/Karaoke business. He loved spending time with his children and grandchildren, they were his life. He also enjoyed mechanic work with cars.
He is survived by five sons, Shawn Mitchell and fiancé Rebecca Hare both of Dexter, Shane Mitchell and fiancé Alexandra Murphy both of Dexter, Logan Mitchell of Desoto, Missouri, Landen Mitchell of Desoto, Missouri and Dustin W. Mitchell of California; by four daughters, Misty Mitchell of Dexter, Kristi and husband Dustin Mitchell of Dexter, Amber Mitchell and fiancé Adam Taylor of Dexter, and TJ Mitchell of Dexter; by two brothers, Jimmy Mitchell of St. Louis, Missouri, and Michael Karmas of Dexter; by fourteen grandchildren, Megan Mitchell and fiancé Brad Jany, Raylei Mitchell and fiancé Cordell Holt, Layne Hefner, Aiden Medlin, Allie Medlin, Rella Mitchell, Lillian Mitchell, Remyngten Parson, Jase Mitchell, Abel Mitchell, Ayla Taylor, Danny Hare, Wyatt Jany, and Lawson Jany; by three great-grandchildren, Kaizlynn Mitchell, Mia Jany and August Jany; and to all the other kids that he considered his thank you.
Other than by his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, David Mitchell; and by five sisters, Carla Pfeffer, Constance Mitchell, Cathy McCabe, Lori Inthaluexay, and Camille Mitchell.
A memorial service will be conducted at the Lighthouse Christian Church in Dexter on Thursday, December 8, 2022, at 6:00 p.m.
