
The Dexter High School Competitive Cheer Squad competed at regionals in St. Louis in October and won first place. They have qualified to compete in the Missouri Cheerleading Coaches Association Championship on Sunday, December 11th at the Show Me Center in Cape Girardeau.
The team was lead through the halls of Dexter High School by the Dexter Marching Bearcats as classmates and staff applauded.
The Dexter High School Competition Cheer squad consists of: Jayci Holcomb, Grace Sepulvado, Bella Cook, Callie Whitaker, Ellie Dowdy, Emma Sparkman, Lexi Holden, Lexi Bennett, Addie Medley, Gracen Hampton, Emma Dorton, Aubrey Seiter, Avery Riley, Cali White, Emma Pennington, Aundrea Hernandez, Averee Ackman, Nia Stromas, Lauren Sindle, and Meredith Nea.

The Dexter High School wrestling team traveled to DeSoto High School and competed against DeSoto and Sikeston in a tri-ad. Sikeston defeated Dexter 39-28. Dexter defeated DeSoto 48-27.

Dexter will travel to Notre Dame on Thursday and compete against ND and Herculaneum.
The 2022 SEMO Conference Girls Basketball Tournament is set to begin Monday, November 28th. Notre Dame earned the #1 seed.
Jackson received the #2 seed followed by #3 Poplar Bluff, #4 Dexter, #5 Saxony Lutheran, #6 Cape Central, #7 Sikeston, #8 Kennett, and #9 New Madrid County Central.
Monday Schedule:
5:00 p.m. Kennett vs NMCC
6:30 p.m. Jackson vs Sikeston
8:00 p.m. Poplar Bluff vs Cape Central
Tuesday Schedule:
5:00 p.m. Notre Dame vs winner of the Monday Play-in game either Kennett or NMCC
6:30 p.m. Dexter vs Saxony Lutheran
8:00 p.m. Loser of the Jackson vs Sikeston game will play the loser of the Kennett vs NMCC game.
Wednesday games are slated for 6 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.
Thursday games are set for 6 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.
Friday Consolation game is at 5 p.m. 3rd place game at 6:30 p.m. and Championship game at 8 p.m.
All games are set to be played at Kennett High School.
