Anita J. Jarrell, daughter of the late Harrison Brigman and Bertha Floyd Brigman, was born on December 31, 1962, in Bernie, Missouri, and departed this life on November 16, 2022, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston, Missouri, at the age of 59 years.

Ms. Jarrell was a homemaker and a resident of Puxico, Missouri.

She is survived by three sons, Christopher Canoy of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, Joey Canoy of Zalma, Missouri, and Casey Jarrell of Dexter, Missouri; by three sisters, Dottie Sue Hunt of Harrisburg, Arkansas, Patsy Stringer of Jackson, Missouri, and Nancy Hartle of Millersville, Missouri; and by five grandchildren, Brenley Canoy, Adeline Canoy, Landry Canoy, Maniah, Orner, and Raelynn Hoffman.

Other than by her parents, she was preceded in death by five brothers, Charles Brigman, Guy Brigman, William Brigman, Gerald Brigman, and Eddie Brigman; and by three sisters, Audrey Brigman, Carla Brigman, and Marie Hicks.

Visitation will be held at Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter on Friday, November 18, 2022, from 11:30 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.

Funeral services will then be conducted in the Mathis Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, November 18, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow in the Smith Stevenson Cemetery.
