Dexter Historic Downtown Association Holds Annual Christmas Tree Lighting

The Dexter Historic Downtown Association held its annual Christmas Tree Lighting at the Downtown Depot/Welcome Center Sunday, November 6, 2022. Those attending were treated to cookies, hot cocoa, Christmas Carols and Santa.

Denita Shipman spoke to those in attendance and thanked many people and businesses who help contribute to the wonderful evening.

Pastor Darin Kleeman with Mile City Church lead the opening prayer.

The T.S. Hill Middle School choir students sang several Christmas carols.  The choir is directed by Delisa Sitze and Jamie Sepulvado.

Thank you to Bank of Advance for the cookies and hot cocoa, First Midwest Bank for the lights, and to Santa Claus for helping us spread holiday cheer.
