In Memory of Doyle Dewayne Isaac

Doyle Dewayne Isaac of Puxico, Missouri was born April 2, 1940 in Kinder, Missouri and gained his angel Wings on October 13, 2022 at the Puxico Nursing and Rehab Center at the age of 82.

Doyle lived in the Puxico and Fredericktown areas all his life and was of the Baptist Faith.

During his early working years Doyle worked at the local saw mills cutting trees as a head sawyer. he later worked for the Puxico Police Department as a Night Watchman. Doyle ended his working life cutting down trees and selling firewood with his three sons and selling vegetables and melons. Doyle most enjoyed Cardinals Baseball, attending drag races and visiting with his friends at the local coffee hangout well he was well known.

Surviving are six daughters: Cathy (Paul) Colbert of Lowndes, Missouri, Gena (Joe) Moore of advance, Missouri, Lisa (Ron) Colbert of Advance, Missouri, Myshena (Stan) Crisel of Puxico, Missouri, Kay Montgomery of Poplar Bluff, Missouri and Tammy Jordan of Fredericktown, Missouri. Three sons: Kenny (Theresa) Isaac and Billy Isaac both of Puxico and Danny Davis of Fredericktown, Missouri. One brother: Claude (Marlene) Isaac of Farmersville, California and Brenda (Ken) Baker of Visalia, California. Twenty nine Grandchildren, Seventy three Great Grandchildren and Seven Great Great Grandchildren. Avery close special friend Carol Isaac of Fredericktown, Missouri.  As well a host of family and friends.  

He was preceded in death by his parents Floyd and Gladys (Cookemboo) Isaac, an infant grandson Christopher Dail Isaac, and infant great granddaughter Sophia Rose Tackett, a son Christopher Lee Isaac, a brother Jim Isaac, sister Janet Kinder and a brother in law Hurcle Kinder.

Visitation will be on Thursday October 20, 2022 starting at 5:00PM to 8:00 PM at the Watkins And Sons Chapel in Puxico, Missouri.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 21, 2022 at 10:00 AM. at the Watkins And Sons Chapel in Puxico with Rev. Ray Placher of Puxico officiating. 

Interment will follow at Fagan Cemetery with Watkins And Sons Funeral Service of Puxico, Missouri in charge of arrangements.

Scholarship donations in memory of Mr. Isaac made be made to the Puxico Educational Foundation.

In Memory of La Gina Renee Kirkman

La Gina Renee Kirkman, daughter of Allen McCoy of Dexter, Missouri and the late Lisa VonRuedgisch was born on July 25, 1992 in Sikeston, Missouri and departed this life on October 12, 2022 at her residence in Gideon, Missouri at the age of 30.

La Gina had worked in the office at Town and Country and was a resident of Gideon, Missouri. She was the life of the party and was always able to get everyone to laugh and dance. She loved being an Aunt and spending time with her family, her favorite thing though, was being a mother.

Other than by her father, Allen, she is survived by two sons, Zayden Kirkman of Sikeston, Missouri and Payton Kirkman of Gideon, Missouri; by two daughters, Hailey Bayless and Cheyanne Bayless both of Sikeston, Missouri; by two brothers, Rex Bayless of O’Fallon, Missouri and Chris Bayless of Springfield, Missouri; by her sister, Tonya Hammett of Wappapello, Missouri; by her fiancé, Jon Mosby of Gideon, Missouri; by her fiancé’s parents, Lisa and David Mosby of Gideon, Missouri, and by many extended family and friends.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 16, 2022 from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at the Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter, Missouri. Funeral services will be conducted on Sunday, October 16, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. in the Mathis Funeral Chapel. Interment will follow at the Hagy Cemetery

In Memory of Gerald Duane Jones

Gerald Duane Jones, son of Reuben Jones and Sandra L. Jones, was born on November 7, 1968, in St. Louis, Missouri, and departed this life on October 10, 2022, at his residence in Bloomfield, Missouri, at the age of 53 years.

Mr. Jones was a mechanic.

He is survived by his mother, Sandra L. Jones of Farmington, Missouri; by his father and stepmother, Reuben and Sandra K. Jones of Puxico, Missouri; and by three brothers, Darren Jones of Scott City, Missouri, Grant Jones of Dexter, Missouri, and Eric Jones of Bentonville, Arkansas.

No services are planned.

In Memory of Reva Pruett

Reva Pruett, daughter of the late James Bloys Cook and Lottie Robey Cook, was born on September 21, 1931, in Aquilla, Missouri, and departed this life on October 11, 2022, at Clark’s Mountain Nursing Center in Piedmont, Missouri, at the age of 91 years.

Mrs. Pruett was a former bookkeeper and office manager, retiring from Gerald Griffith Construction. She had also worked for Montgomery Ward and Midwest Cable. She was a member of Living Water Worship Center in Bloomfield, Missouri, and a former resident of Dexter, Missouri. She enjoyed crocheting and making afghans. She loved reading her bible and listening to gospel music. She was a faithful preacher’s wife and her faith, and her family were her life.

On March 31, 1951, she was united in marriage to Rev. Edsel Pruett. Rev. Pruett preceded her in death on June 23, 2007.

She is survived by her son, Bloyce Pruett and wife Gayla of Poplar Bluff, Missouri; by two grandchildren, Flesha Samuels and Benjamin Pruett; and by two great-grandchildren, Brandon Pruett and Kaleb Billmeier.

Other than by her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her infant son, James William Pruett, and by her brother, Andy Franklin Cook.

Visitation will be held at Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter on Monday, October 17, 2022, from 11:30 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Funeral services will then be conducted in the Mathis Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, October 17, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Jim Hook officiating. Interment will follow in the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield.

Memorials may be made to the Bloomfield Area Nutrition Center, 609 N Delaware Street, Bloomfield, Missouri 63825.

In Memory of Charles Ray Ritch

Charles Ray Ritch of Dexter, Missouri the son of the late Paul and Alma (Sutton) Ritch was born in Blytheville, Arkansas on December 14, 1935, and passed away on October 1, 2022,  at the age of 86 years.

Charles lived in Dexter all his life until he moved to Saint Louis to work and moved back after retirement. Charles was of the Baptist Faith. 
Charles was a retired Retail Tire Sales Manager from Goodyear.  

Charles is survived by his four sons, Dave Ritch of Dexter, Donald Ritch, Doug Ritch, and Darrell Ritch all of Grayridge, Missouri; two daughters, Linda McGarrity of Paducah, Kentucky, Beverly Harris of Dexter; one step-son, Billy Lusk of Dexter; one step-daughter, Sherrie Leathers of St. Louis; one brother, Kenneth Ritch of Florida; one sister, Sue Ann Holden of St. Louis, Missouri; ten grandchildren, several great-grandchildren. A host of Family and Friends also survive.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Louise (Plunk) Ritch; one son, Dennis Ritch;  one daughter; Sheila Ritch; and one sister, Melba Harlan. 
Visitation will be on Friday, October 7, 2022 from 12 to 1:00 P.M. for Family and 1 to 2:00 P.M. for Friends at the Watkins and Sons Chapel in Dexter, Missouri.

Funeral services will be held the same day as visitation at 2:00 P.M at the Watkins and Sons Chapel in Dexter with Pastor Charlie Robertson of Bloomfield officiating and  Watkins and Sons Funeral Service of Dexter, Missouri in charge of arrangements.
