What is Stoddard County Lights?
This is a drive-in light show that shares the joy and hope of Christmas through lights set to music and narration.
What time should I get there?
Plan to arrive 30 minutes before the show time you are wanting to attend.
Where do I go to see Stoddard County Lights?
Stoddard County Lights will be presented on the First Baptist Church campus in Dexter, MO. However, because this is a drive-in light show, we will need you to enter on a specific route. We understand people will be coming from many directions, so a map is provided at the bottom of the page to show the direction in which traffic needs to flow.
Tip: Please do not type in "First Baptist Church Dexter MO" on Google Maps as this will take you directly to the First Baptist Church location. Rather, type in "W Main St N & N Catalpa St". This will take you to the intersection in which all traffic will need to enter. Members from our team will be present to guide you from this point.
Tip: If you are coming from Highway 60, we suggest taking the One Mile Road exit and go south. Continue through the traffic light, then make a left onto Market Street.
Tip: If you are coming from Highway 25, turn west onto Business 60 at the three-way stop by Bud Shell and On-the-Go. Continue to the three-way stop at Wings Etc., and turn on Walnut Street.
What do I do when I get there?
When you arrive, someone from our team will direct you to where you need to park. Once you have parked, please turn your headlights off. You will be directed to tune your radio to a specific station and enjoy the show from the comfort of your vehicle!
ATTENTION: If you drive a large truck, SUV, or van, we will guide you to park in a specific area to ensure all families that attend will be able to see the light show.
What does it cost?
There is no cost; this is a gift to our community.
