2022 DHS Fall Homecoming Queen Candidate Kylah Hill

The 2022 Fall Homecoming coronation was held on Friday, September 16th at 6:30 p.m. at Charles Bland Stadium.

Kylah Hill is a senior at Dexter High School and was nominated by the football team.

She is escorted tonight by her brother, Conner Hill.

Conner is a freshman at DHS.

They are the children of Sara Davis and Cory Hill.

While attending DHS, Kylah is involved in Choir and FCCLA and is a member of the Pep Club.

After high school, she plans on attending SEMO and pursuing a degree in Special Education.

Her escort, Conner, is a member of the Football and Track teams as well as the pep club.

When asked to describe his sister with three words, Conner said she is pretty, crazy, and very obnoxious.

2022 DHS Fall Homecoming Queen Candidate Caitlin Giles

The 2022 Fall Homecoming coronation was held on Friday, September 16th at 6:30 p.m. at Charles Bland Stadium.

Caitlin Giles is a senior at Dexter High School and was nominated by the volleyball team.

She is the daughter of Tripp and Laura Giles Varsity Volleyball.

While attending DHS, Caitlin is a member of the Varsity Basketball and Track teams  Pep Club, Future Business Leaders of America, DECA, and Fellowship of Christian Athletes.

Caitlin serves as the Parliamentary Officer of FCCLA and President of HOSA - Future Health Professionals.

After graduation, she plans to attend Ole Miss and pursue an undergraduate degree in Kinesiology and ultimately work towards a Doctorate of Physical Therapy.

Jackson Howard is Caitlin’s escort.

Jackson is a sophomore at DHS and the son of Wes and Bonnie Howard.

He is on the DHS Football, basketball, and baseball teams, and is a member of Future Farmers of America.

When asked to describe Caitlin, Jackson said she is smart, very pretty, and great to be around.

2022 DHS Fall Homecoming Queen Candidate Bella Cook

The 2022 Fall Homecoming coronation was held on Friday, September 16th at 6:30 p.m. at Charles Bland Stadium.

Bella Cook is a senior at Dexter High School and was nominated by the football team.

She is the daughter of Shannon and Karen Cook.

While attending DHS, Bella has been a member of Student Council, FCCLA, HOSA, and  Pep club. She is also on the varsity tennis team and the varsity basketball cheer team.

After high school, Bella plans to attend a four year university.

She was escorted by Andrew Saylors.

He is a senior at DHS and is the son of Corey Saylors and Nicki Buttery.

Andrew is on the Varsity Football and Baseball teams and is a member of Future Business Leaders of America, FCCLA, Fellowship of Christian Athletes and Pep Club.

When asked to describe Bella, Andrew said she is funny, ambitious, and beautiful.

2022 DHS Fall Homecoming Queen Candidate Rachel Cobb

The 2022 Homecoming coronation was held on Friday, September 16th at 6:30 p.m. at Charles Bland Stadium.

Rachel Cobb is a senior at Dexter HIgh School and was nominated by the volleyball team.

She is the daughter of Lonnie and Ginger Cobb.

Rachel is a member of the Varsity Volleyball team, as well as Student Council, Future Business Leaders of America, FCCLA, DECA and Pep Club.

After graduation, Rachel plans to continue her volleyball career at Jefferson College and get a degree in radiology to become an ultrasound technician.

She was escorted by Peyton Jarrell.

Peyton is a junior at DHS and the son of Tom and Kerry Jarrell. 

He is a member of the football and basketball teams as well as pep club. He is also involved in the DHS choirs and musicals. 

When asked to describe Rachel in three words, he said “Rachel, is, funny.”

Dexter Elks Students of the Month at Bell City

Bell City, MO - Kennett Rampley and Kaelyn Yarbrough were chosen as Dexter Elks Students of the Month representing Bell City High School.

Kennett and Kaelyn will go on to compete with other students of the month throughout Stoddard County for the Dexter Elks Student of the Year later in May of 2023.
