In Memory of Danny D. Creasy

Danny D. Creasy, son of the late James D. Creasy and Norma Grace Creasy, was born on June 4, 1948, in Qulin, Missouri, and departed this life on August 6, 2022, at his residence in Wappapello, Missouri, at the age of 74.

Danny was a retired United States Air Force veteran who served in the Vietnam War. He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Wappapello Eagles, and the Wappapello American Legion. Danny enjoyed being outdoors, fishing and hunting. He loved spending time with his daughters and grandchildren.

He was united in marriage to Margaret Arnold. Mrs. Creasy preceded him in death.

Danny was preceded in death by his brother, Don Creasy of Springfield, Missouri, his Sister, Diane Bishop, and her husband, Keith of Clifton, Tennessee. Three daughters, Lisa Page and Debbie Jones of Wappapello, Missouri; the late Kelly Eyraud from a previous marriage of Piedmont, Missouri. The mother of his daughters; Lisa and Debbie, Mary Jackson of Wappapello, Missouri; by one niece and nephew, Sonya Hefner of Clifton, Tennessee; and Ricky Hefner of Milledgeville, Tennessee. by five grandchildren, Derek Creasy and Allen Hancock, the sons of Lisa Page, Tayler Jones, the daughter of Debbie Jones, Brandon Eyraud and Hunter DeShaney the son and daughter of Kelly Eyraud; by fourteen great-grandchildren, Kevin Johnson, Dante Creasy, Logan Creasy, Journey Creasy, Mila Schwartz, Nadia Creasy the children of Derek Creasy. Denton Morrill, Emerson Hancock, Aubrey Hancock, the children of Allen Hancock. Layton Eyraud, Ledger Eyraud, the sons of Brandon Eyraud. Gabe Lawson and Addy Barnwell are the son and daughter of Hunter DeShaney. Including countless friends and loved ones.

A graveside memorial service will be conducted on Thursday, August 11, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield, Missouri, with full military honors.

Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter, Missouri is assisting with arrangements.
