Rondal Edward Taylor son of the late Vesteen Taylor and Mary Quick Taylor was born on November 26, 1951 in Hayward, Missouri and departed this life on July 15, 2022 at the age of 71.
Mr. Taylor was retired from WW Wood Products in Dudley, Missouri. He enjoyed working on cars and lawn mowers and was a resident of Essex, Missouri.
He is survived by two daughters, Ronda Capps and husband, Mark of Greenville, Missouri and Kimberly Carter of Sikeston, Missouri; by his bonus son, Scott Chestnut of St. Louis, Missouri; by three brothers, Samuel Lynn Taylor of Sikeston, Missouri, Rodney Taylor of Greenfield, Tennessee, and Vesteen Taylor Jr. of Sikeston, Missouri; by five sisters, Melba Hardin of Union City, Tennessee, Freda Stidman of West Memphis, Arkansas, Janet Robinson of Union City, Tennessee, Sandra Smith of Union City, Tennessee and Debra Sexton of West Memphis, Arkansas; by two grandchildren, Kylee and Ryan Carter and by many nieces and nephews.
Other than by his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers, Gerald Wayne Taylor and Roger Taylor and by one sister, Brenda Taylor.
Visitation will be conducted on Tuesday, July 19, 2022 from 9:30 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at the Mathis Funeral Chapel in Dexter, Missouri. Funeral services will then be conducted on Tuesday, July 19, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. in the Mathis Funeral Chapel with Brother Jack Walker officiating. Interment will follow at the New Essex Cemetery.
