Kay Phillips White Farewell Party, Her Final Wish

Kay Phillips White has terminal cancer, and her last wish is to have a farewell party before she passes.

Please join her family and friends, to say goodbye, on Sunday, July 10, 2022, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at her home in rural Bloomfield, Missouri, 19505 County Road 262.

Kay was born on April 19, 1947, to the late William Orin Phillips and Helen McCain Phillips.

She is married to her high school sweetheart, Charles White and they have two sons, Lance White and wife Mary Jane of St. Genevieve, Missouri, and Chance White and wife Amy of Benton, Missouri. Kay has three grandchildren, Ayden, Truman, and Tennyson; one sister, Judy Kirby of Dexter, Missouri; and one brother, Bruce Phillips, who is deceased.

In Memory of Earnestine Easter Jones

Earnestine Easter Jones of Malden, Missouri, the daughter of the late James Willie "Buddy" and Ruby Mae Hampton was born on April 25, 1949 at Trail Back, near Essex, Missouri. She passed away at her home in Malden, Missouri, at the age of 73 years 2 months and eight days.

 Mrs. Jones lived in Malden nearly all her life where she was known and loved by her community.  She worked for Ridgeview Nursing Home along side her daughter.  She was a longtime member of the Mt. Zion Grayridge M.B. Church, where she faithfully served as an Usher for many years.  And while she was dedicated to her church she was just as dedicated to serving the Lord.  She spent much of her time volunteering as an Usher for anyone who for her services at their home going services.  You could often find her sitting out in her front yard under the tree waving and talking to all her neighbors passing by while she drank her coffee and had her cigarette  

Surviving is her husband of 54 years 10 months and 26 days Robert Jones, Sr., of Malden, Missouri; her children Robert Jr. and Sydney Jones of Sikeston, Missouri; Barbara  Daniels of Howardville, Missouri; Angela and Lee Robinson of Lilbourn, Missouri; Uylesses and Patricia Jones of Essex, Missouri; and Yolanda Jones of Springfield, Missouri; one stepdaughter Cathy and Tracy Hampton of Cape Girardeau, Missouri.  

 Also surviving one brother Amos Hampton of Sikeston, Missouri; four sisters and spouses, Nancy and Series McLeod; Johnnie and Robert Beecham and Debora Evans all of Memphis, Tennessee; Lisa Hampton of Poplar Bluff, Missouri; 22 grandchildren; 56 great grandchildren a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. 

She was preceded in death by one son Orlando Jones; one grandson Cavasia Jones; two sisters Gladys Marie Dalton; Geraldine Esther Hampton (twin, sister, and best friend); two brothers Timmie Louis "T" and James Freeman Hampton.

Visitation will be held on Saturday July 9 , 2022 from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter, Missouri, with Funeral Service to follow with Bishop Ronnie Mack officiating. 

 Internment will take place at Macedonia Cemetery in Malden, Missouri with Watkins and Sons Funeral Home of Dexter in charge of all arrangements.

In Memory of Alma Irene Maynard

Alma Irene Maynard of Desoto, Missouri daughter of the late Trot Hunt and Hallie (Harrington) Hunt born on August 29, 1926 in Dexter, Missouri and passed away on June 27, 2022 in Desoto, Missouri at the age of 95 years 9 months 29 days.

Alma lived in the Dexter area the majority of her life where she worked in the nursing field. Alma also lived in Valley View, Illinois and Columbia, Missouri.  Alma enjoyed fishing and taking care of children. Alma was of the Pentecostal faith.

She married Ranzie Gordon Maynard July 2, 1946 in Dexter, Missouri and was married until his passing in August of 2006.

She is survived by four daughters; Nannie Elzbeath Redd of Valles Mines Missouri: Peggy Ann Schnack of Desoto, Missouri; Lois Delece Crowley of Columbia, Missouri and Joy Len Zimmer of Eddyville, Kentucky. sixteen grandchildren; twenty seven great grandchildren A host of family and friends also survive. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; two sons Jimmy Edward and Troy Ray Maynard; one daughter Donna Faye Short. 

Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 9, 2022 from 9:00 to 11:00 p.m At the Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter, Missouri.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, July 9, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at the Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter, Missouri with Pastor Gary Gilbert officiating and Watkins and Sons Funeral Home of Dexter, Missouri in charge of all arrangements.

Interment will be held at the Hagy Cemetery in Dexter, Missouri.

In Memory of Lottie Bernice Hunott

Lottie Bernice Hunott, daughter of the late Charlie Revelle and Lora Hohn Revelle, was born on January 4, 1932, in Grassy, Missouri, and departed this life on July 1, 2022, at Monticello House in Jackson, Missouri, at the age of 90 years.

Mrs. Hunott was a former employee of the International Hat Factory in Dexter, Missouri, and a resident of Dexter. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Dexter for over 50 years, where she had served as secretary and was a member of the Mary Magdalene Sunday School Class. Bernice loved the St. Louis Cardinals.

On June 22, 1957, in Hernando, Mississippi, she was united in marriage to Gene Hunott. Mr. Hunott preceded her in death on June 17, 2019.

She is survived by her son, Steve Hunott of Dexter, Missouri; by her daughter, Pam Hiett of Cape Girardeau, Missouri; by four grandchildren, Derek Wayne Hiett, Lindsey Kay Medley, Adam Miles and Lottie-Ann Hunott; and by six great-grandchildren, Hunter Derek Hiett, Landen Wayne Hiett, Makenzie Lynn Medley, Conner Daniel Medley, Ronin Miles and Ryder Miles.

Other than by her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by four sisters.

Visitation will be held at Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter on Friday, July 8, 2022, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

Funeral services will then be conducted in the Mathis Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, July 8, 2022, at 12:00 p.m.

Interment will follow in the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield.

Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter is assisting with arrangements.

Marvin Lee Glore, son of Lee Glore of Park Hills, Missouri, and the late Edith Morris Glore, was born on August 9, 1952, in Park Hills, Missouri, and departed this life on July 3, 2022, at his residence in Dexter, Missouri, at the age of 69 years.

Mr. Glore was a former heavy equipment operator. He was of the Baptist faith.

Other than by his father, he is survived by two sons, Matthew Glore and wife Anna of Dexter, Missouri, and Earl Glore and wife Jill of Dexter, Missouri; by two daughters, Bobbie Jo Barnes and husband Jeff of Dexter, Missouri, and Billie Jo Crane and husband Justin of Dexter, Missouri; by his brother, David Glore of Parkhills, Missouri; by three sisters, Connie Lynch of Park Hills, Missouri, Faye Watson of Tampa, Florida, and Brenda Rosson of St. Peters, Missouri; and by ten grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren.

Other than by his mother, he was preceded in death by his brother, Howard Robinson.

The family will be holding a celebration of life at his home in Dexter on Saturday, July 9th.

Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter is assisting with arrangements.
