In Memory of Randal Len “Randy” Silliman

Randal Len “Randy” Silliman, son of Violet Norman Silliman of Dexter, Missouri, and the late Bill Silliman, was born on July 31, 1954, in Dexter, Missouri, and departed this life on June 14, 2022, at his residence in Slidell, Louisiana, at the age of 67 years.

Mr. Silliman farmed with his Dad as a boy growing up. After marriage he began farming the family farm with his brother Darrell from 1974 to 1982. He then farmed and ran local Ag Businesses up to 2005 when he moved his business to Louisiana where he formed S&S Commercial Inc. which did heavy construction and commercial demolition. He most recently started Gulf Coast Crushing in Pass Christian, Mississippi. Randy was in the Missouri National Guards for six years and he was a member and deacon at White Oak Grove General Baptist Church in Bernie.

On February 2, 1974, in Bernie, Missouri, he was united in marriage to Debra “Debbie” Evans. Mrs. Silliman survives of their home in Slidell, Louisiana.

In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by his son, Chad Silliman and wife Dena of Slidell, Louisiana; by two daughters, Tracy Silliman Botsch of Bernie, Missouri, and Jessica Hylton and husband Dusty of Slidell, Louisiana; by two brothers, Darrell Ray Silliman of Red Banks, Mississippi, and Dr. William Ray Silliman and wife Janet of Jackson, Missouri; by one sister; by eight grandchildren, Justus Silliman (Aleesa), Dakota Len Hampton (Devin), Kerri Botsch, Macie Botsch, Kaylin Jane Hylton, Kylee Hylton, Kolston Hylton, and Kash Hylton; and by three great-grandchildren, Haven Silliman, Everleigh Silliman, and Cole Hampton.

Visitation will be held at Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter on Friday, June 17, 2022, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.

Funeral services will then be conducted in the Mathis Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, June 18, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Bill Pennington officiating.

Interment will follow in the Chalk Bluff Cemetery

Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter is assisting with arrangements.
