Harry Wayne Mayabb, son of the late Harry “Tater” Mayabb and Lela Imogene Childers Mayabb, was born on August 18, 1947, in East Prairie, Missouri, and departed this life on April 30, 2022, at his residence in East Prairie, at the age of 74 years.

Mr. Mayabb was a Veteran of the United States Navy from 1965 to 1968, serving on the USS Hunley as a ship service man, and he was an over the road truck driver for 30 years.

He is survived by his daughter, Chasady Stortz and husband J of Whitewater, Missouri; by his brother Tiger Mayabb of East Prairie, Missouri; by his sister, Sherry Thurman of East Prairie, Missouri; and by five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Other than by his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Heather McCurter, and by his granddaughter, Gracelynn Cross.

Graveside services will be conducted at East Prairie Memorial Park Cemetery on Wednesday, May 4, 2022, at 2:00 p.m.
