
Charleston, MO - FIDO LOVES THE FESTIVAL - The Charleston Dogwood-Azalea Festival will host with Medlin Equipment and the CHS Key Club a Dog Show on Sturday, April 23rd at 4 p.m. Location are the tennis courts in the park. Bloomfield Chamber of Commerce Easter Egg Hunt will be on Saturday, April 16, 2022 at 9:00 a.m. in the Bloomfield City Park.
There will be three age groups in three separate areas of the park.
Ages 0-3 years of age will hunt eggs inside the softball field area.
Ages 4-7 years of age will hunt eggs next to the pavilion on the southeast side of the park.
Ages 8-12 years of age will hunt eggs in the area of the playground equipment.
The Easter Bunny will also be there for pictures, so bring your phone or camera!
Each age group will have three special “Wildcat” purple eggs to search for and put in their basket. Prizes will be 1st, 2nd and 3rd in each age category. If you find a special egg come up to the pavilion and a member of the Chamber will have a special gift just for you. The newspaper will also be on hand to take photos of each group of children who find the special “purple” egg.

Puxico, MO - The Masonic Lodge will host their 31st Annual St. Patrick's Day Corned Beef and Cabbage Dinner at the Puxico School Cafeteria on Sunday, March 13, 2022 from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m.
Everyone is welcome to come out and enjoy great food! Cost is $12 per adult, children 5-10 is $6 and under 5 years is free.

The 25th Annual St. Patrick’s Day Ecumenical Corned Beef & Cabbage Event will be held Thursday, March 17, 2022 at the Sacred Heart Parish Center on E. Castor St. in Dexter from 11:00 am until 6:30pm.
The event will include a meal, music provided by area musicians, a General Store featuring local homemade items, and a charity drawing for four unique items.
The event is sponsored by sixteen Stoddard County churches with Pam Ward and Sam Huey as event coordinators. All proceeds will go to support the Stoddard County Gospel Mission, Stoddard County Children’s Home, Stoddard County ARC, and the Dexter Lunch Box “Meals on Wheels.”
The meal will include corned beef and cabbage, parsleyed potatoes, combread, homemade dessert, and drink. Cost for the eat-in or carry-out meal is $9.50. Tickets can be purchased by calling 573.624.6995 or they can be bought at the door the day of the event.
The charity drawing will feature “The Messenger” by local artist Sherry Montgomery, a “Redwood Bowl w/Leather Trim” by local wood turner and artist Jim Adkins, a “Cardinal Baseball Comhole Game Set” by a local craftsman, and a “Hand Pieced & Hand Quilted Quilt” (74 inches x 87 inches) by a local quilter. The drawing will be held at 6 p.m. the day of the event.
