Walk-Off by Pedigo Seals a Win for the DMS Bearcats

Dexter, MO - The Dexter Middle School baseball team had their first at home game against the Kennett Indians in dramatic fashion.  The game was tied at seven when Trey Pedigo singled on a 1-1 count, scoring one run by Justus Lovelady winning the game 8-7.

A four-run lead in the sixth inning was just enough for the Bearcats to hold off the Indians for the victory.  Kennett scored four runs in the failed comeback on a double by Prewett and a single by Cohn.

Kennett jumped on the board first when an error scored one run for them.

Dexter scored four runs in the sixth inning.  Pedigo, Gibson Booker, and Hunter Massey all contributed in the big inning with RBIs.
